| how to say i love you without actually saying it Posted: 3/21/2007 8:58:40 PM | I agree with drg. in some ways, Love is a feeling, an emotion, it's hard to hide, if someone truly loves you, you will know it and they know you love them, why not say I love you? If you really love them, I don't understand how you could keep from saying it, when I have loved someone I want to climb on the roof and shout it to the world, it's hard for me to hold back the emotions bursting from my heart, why would you want to?

It just melts my heart to hear my guy say " I am so in love with you" I dont know why their is so much greater impact than a simple " Love You" but there is, and its wonderful.

| how to say i love you without actually saying it Posted: 3/21/2007 9:36:13 PM | Reb, I think there is much less impact in the "love you" because it almost sounds like going thru the motions or no emotion, when someone leave the "I" out it leaves a small hurt in my heart and i wonder did you mean that? It means so much more saying "every time I look at you you I lose my breath and I love you more with every heart beat" but alas it has been a while since I have said those words and I miss saying them LOL! ...I agree as well....when I love someone, I want to say..." I love you" and mean it, no games just words from my heart.

you can know or show you love someone by the way you act, you can show it in a very sweet way or a kinky way too, I am sure he will love both.

If I could, I'd wave my magic wand and send you the bestest lil ol girl your heart ever saw and you could just tell her you loved her until the cows come home!
Lord have mercy.. just doesnt seem like finding love and happiness should be this close to something resembling WORK does it ???

| how to say i love you without actually saying it Posted: 3/22/2007 2:17:43 PM | When I was first going with my ex things were kind of rocky. She wasn't sure if I really cared. Things eventually turned around. Years later she told me why. During one of the times when we was talking I told her, quite honestly. "" You make me a better person and I'll always care."" She said that was when she knew.
Despite the fact that we are apart now I will always care. I don't miss her and don't want her back but I will always care.

You may want another to guess what you mean, but what are you prepared to do if they guess wrong? They will guess through their own filters. They may not arrive at the same place you wish them to be.

| how to say i love you without actually saying it Posted: 3/22/2007 7:37:50 PM | it seems like what the original question was is... how do you actually say it to someone in a special way that they know what it means....
when i am with someone i love, and we are holding hands and what not, i just squeeze there hand three times
i
love
you
so yeah... that is how i do it

| how to say i love you without actually saying it Posted: 4/3/2007 8:43:05 PM | | With one of my exes, I would just use a quote from one of my favorite movies. "As you wish" and she knew exactly what I meant. The look in her eyes when I would say that was all the response I needed from her! | |

| how to say i love you without actually saying it Posted: 4/3/2007 11:31:25 PM | my boyfriend has his own little ways of saying I love you without actually saying it.
He has said things like "you are my heart", and has called me his "breath taker" haha :)
he also says that I am his "paradise"
He is from Germany and often says things in German, like Ich liebe dich (I love you) or calls me mein schatzilein (my little treasure).
I think little sayings like that can be profound in their own ways, and a lot more original that just I love you or luv ya.

| how to say i love you without actually saying it Posted: 4/3/2007 11:34:23 PM | I forgot to mention a neat little thing that we are going to do for one another very soon. There are these rings called "poesy rings" that have sentiments engraved onto them, either on the inside or the outside. You can get different styles in many different languages. We have decided on a white gold band that says "Myn Genyst" which means "My Heart" in Old German, its engraved on the outside and in a fancy old style script. I think wearing a commitment ring is a nice gesture before marriage... Look online to see poesy rings, I have also seen it spelled posey, and posy.
Seeing that little constant reminder of what I am to him would melt my heart.

Be attentive and do the little things that make a difference. But don't ever let a day go by without saying I Love You!
