How did her parents NOT think of possible nicknames for their child before naming her? LOL

Posted: 1/11/2008 11:40:20 AM | Some of these name are bad enough but some people fail to think about the initials. My parents , for instance. My initials are MF. What the heck where my parent thinking or not thinking? This was the 60's though...
My sweet sis was going to name her baby "Faith Angelica Gabrielle". I Instantly took her aside and asked her to do think about the initials. She was horrified and thanked me for doing the thinking on that one. I replied " Well my initials are MF so I'm always on the lookout". She named the baby a little differently.
The problem is that we spend a lot of time picking out names for our kids and then somehow they end up with a silly nickname that he is known as forever. My son's given name is beautiful and yet I call him the silliest nickname. | |
