WTF. ahahahaha. I can't believe some people really think that piercings are so gross.
I have 3 on my face. Oh well.
'don't like it, don't look.'
But i'll be damned if i'm going to change because you don't like it.
I can't believe some of the things people have said in here. Seriously.
I just like being pierced. I can't help it. At least I can take out piercings. Tattoo's you're stuck with forever.

If you overdecorate the outside...you usually don't do much to the inside. | |

I do good deeds everyday... hell I take care of the disabled for my job... they dont judge. I have also worked with the elderly and assised the activities director ... I have never been fired from a job, I have wonderful references and no police record.... and not one client or resident had ever judged me based upon the two small rings in my face nor has it affected my job or ability to care for other.....
Not to mention I have a very well rounded life and have many people who love me and support me
Right now I am thanking god I have these rings if it keeps people like you out of my life. How dare you say something so rude and thoughtless... if anyone needs to work on thier "inside" it's you. | |

The hole is big enough that I could put my small finger right into the hole. Why on earth would anyone want to do that to themself? | |

At least, I used to think allll facial piercings were gross-looking, but now I'd say one or at the most two tasteful ones would be ok with me. A discrete nose stud can even look nice. But as far as having a bunch of rings and hooks hanging out, no...sorry, it's just not my style. I also agree with the guy with the guy who said it's too 90s....it seems like a long-outdated look to me as well. | |

Posted: 3/20/2008 2:01:25 AM | wow, I've really learned a lot about myself from this thread...seems that since I have 12 piercings, 2 on my face....then I couldn't possibly be attractive....I must live an "alternative" lifestyle....I don't care about working out or being healthy....I must do lots of heavy drugs....oh yeah, & I'm a clone...
please, keep the stereotypes coming...this is quite enlightening....
as to your question, yes I do think it intimidates them...& I like it that way....as I said before...it keeps the simpletons away.....

If someone WAS turned off by it, so be it. I don't aim to impress anyone, much less everyone. | |

And we had a serious discussion about it a couple weeks ago. Looking into the future, after college, and him trying to get a decent job, no employer is going to think it is cute. It reeks of immaturity, trying to look "bad". It does look bad, but not the type of "bad" they were trying for. Plus, the deciding factor for my son, was when I said, "if that is what you do with your money, that is your business, but I will rethink every dime I give you, if your going to do things like that, whether it is my money that pays for it, or yours". | |
