By definition (medical definition) There is no such thing as a foot fetish.... body parts cannot be fetishes..... shoes, stockings, ect can.... If someone likes feet it is a personal preference... no different than a guy who likes a woman's boobs or butt..... There are only two "sexual" body parts a penis and vagina.. Everything else (including boobs) are just personal turn ons....
the entire body can be an erogenous zone.... When we start saying this body part counts and this one is weird (or a fetish) it starts to pathologize people's sexual expression... and we should be trying to normalze sexual expression not make people feel that something is wrong with them for liking a particular body part or including that in their sex play....
Personally I have issues with people that would exclude any part of their bodies in their play with a partner.... as long as good hygiene is followed (and if it is not followed ... what's up with that) the entire body should be explored and enjoyed....
So remember.... feet are not gross.... your feet might be gross ... Wash your damn feet !!!

I have been told I have pretty feet...I get pedicures twice a month in the summer, wear beautiful blue nail polish, and toe rings. When it's hot here in STL, I wear open toe shoes, mostly heels or wdge heels, all of the time. I am the woman who gets a pedicure in the dead of winter because if you're dating someone and it's time to get naked, nothing like Jesus feet (as my brother calls them) to turn a guy off. I caught a guy at my JOB staring at my feet one day and just smiled...he turned red but kept staring! I've been out and have had men tell me how pretty my feet were--one offered to give me pedicures if he could touch them. LOL...that was a bit much and I said thanks but no thanks politely.
I dated a guy who LOVED to suck my toes while we were in bed. At first I was like don't--then that turned to don't stop! I don't think he even cared about them outside of the bedroom.
I look at it this way--God gave us feet to transport us where we need to go. Take care of them and they'll continue to take you where you want to be. There's nothng more awful than seeing a woman break out sandals and her feet look like she's walked in the desert 40 days and 40 nights (Jesus feet). I would think that would be a turn off for a guy. Conversely, I can't stand for a man to want to play footsie and it feels like there's sandpaper attached to his feet!! Yuck!!!
So if you were ever to touch MY feet, you'd find that I lavish lotion, vaseline (old lady trick--keeps them smooth!) and love on them all of the time!

Thogh now having doen allsorts to him, my feet are more flexible lol

Even after a shower, the minute you start walking around, stuff on the floor sticks to your feet and affects their smell. In the heat of the moment are you going to stop and make your partner take a foot bath? I doubt it. LOL
2: My feet are super senitive/ticklish. I'd worry that when my guy started touching or sucking, I'd accidentally kick him in the face.  Then I would feel bad.
3: Yes, some poeple are self-conscious about the way their feet look. I've had surgery on my feet that didnt go well, so the scars and the actual shape of my feet arent pretty. I hide them behind strappy sandals. Just like people rudely stare at scars or physical deformities, I dont like people looking at what i consider to be imperfections.
So, over all - No, I dont particularly want to date a guy with a foot fetish. It would make me very uncomfortable. | |
