| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 3/26/2007 1:18:01 AM | If you did go with a woman who used to be a man , would that make me bisexual? Couldn't stand being rejected by men as well as women. | |
|
| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 3/26/2007 2:16:33 AM | Yes, I would. I'm attracted to / date the person, not the formation of genitalia.

|
| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 3/26/2007 10:50:34 AM | Definately not, I believe that if you were born a man, or a woman, then that's the sex you should stay.
Might sound narrow minded,
|
| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/10/2007 11:48:42 AM | Drazic1986 - What would your opinion be of an intersex person? Someone born with ambiguous genitalia? After all they were born that way.

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/10/2007 12:11:29 PM | I definitely would not .. no matter what a surgeon has done, they are still not the sex they changed into, the one's ive met are the most insecure, unstable beings ... even after the operations.
besides the fact, i will never understand and i think it's a moral dilema that the world is going soft on .. before you know it ,, we'll all be born both with the option to choose our sex ... thats as daft as i see it .. sorry if this offends any tranny's.
|
| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/10/2007 12:17:47 PM | That's a really hard question & I certainly wouldn't have a problem with it, after all you can't help who you fall in love with

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/10/2007 12:21:49 PM | I had a Girlfriend with hairy Nipples once but that's as far as i'm prepared to go. I'd be too worried SHE might show me up in the pub by beating me at darts or something.

|
| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/11/2007 2:06:30 AM | yes i would .... post or pre-op .... makes no difference if i fancy them.
i guess it all comes down to how open minded a person you are !!
|
| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/11/2007 3:00:13 AM | The two posts above show what a huge difference there is in peoples attitude toward their fellow human beings, and the massive diversity of opinions within this Forum, don't they?
In anther thread someone brought up the idea that one can learn who one would never consider dating from their postings in these discussions. I think that the two posts above demonstrate that perfectly!
On Topic: I repeat - it's the person I fancy, not the formation of genitalia.

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/12/2007 5:49:46 AM | I dont want to open a can of worms, but SJS beauty if in the eye of the beholder an its not my attitude towards my fellow beings is wrong, men are born men ,women are born women, the thought of dating a freak, mixed up person couldnt do it or entertain mixing with such people????those who think that psychologically that they are someone else obviously needs psychiatric help.medication etc,

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/12/2007 7:30:28 AM | | i would rather date a frog than some one who has had a sex change........oh no i am dating a frog | |
|
| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/12/2007 8:26:41 AM | with regard to the comment about "freaks" made by someone here.
it has been proven that there is a part of the brain that is female and shows on a scan as being different to that of a male. in nearly all genuine male to female transexuals that part of the brain has show to be female. maybe it is beyond the capability of some people to accept that it is possible for a woman to be born with what is a mans body.
just because someone is different then it does not make them a freak. are gay people freaks because they are not the same as you what about big fat people .. are they freaks because they may not be beautiful in your eye that beholds beauty what about physically disabled are they all freaks too ?
i'm afraid your attitude is very wrong .... prejudice is prejudice no matter what form it takes ....

I try and take everyone at face value and keep a non judgemental attitude in life, I've nothing against post op transsexuals but I am sorry, just couldn't date a chick that used to have a d1ck. That doesn't make me prejudice, just kind of choosy on who I have a relationship with, call me old fashioned but anyone born with meat and two veg is just not my thing.

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/13/2007 5:53:00 AM | msg 37 - errr.................... yes, your attitude towards your fellow beings IS wrong. a person is not a 'freak', as you delicately put it, because they were born with a body that differs from their feeling or thinking.
maybe your just perfect - whatever that is....?
i couldnt honestly say if i would date someone who was a post op transsexual. like a lot of things in life, i cant give an answer until i was in that situation/tried it myself. like someone else said 'you cant help who you fall in love with'.
tolerance and acceptance are my words de jour

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/13/2007 6:04:59 AM | msg 41 I am not claiming to be perfect, theres no such thing as having a body that differs from there feelings, its all in the heads of these people an should be treated accordingly with psychotherapy an large doses of medication, an locked up in a special hospital for appropiate treatment. | |

pre op transsexuals - good luck!
message too short, la la lala la la lala................................

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/13/2007 8:22:18 AM | to call a transexual a freak is unacceptable ... in my mind this is no different than the prejudice that got a girl kicked out of big brother and if that had been used here there would be uproar.
and as for the person that used this term .. it would appear that he certainly does not live up to his screen name. being ill informed and lacking intelligence is no excuse for this kind of behaviour.
strange how the forum collective is being very quiet on this ...

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/13/2007 9:07:16 AM | | msg 47 wats the point of a free country, an you cannot have a view on things, personally the doctors,an sexual counsellors have a lot to answer for by letting them (POT) convince themselves that they have this problem an should lay it on the line to them an help them with medication . Let them have access to psychotherapists an psychologists who can help them. | |

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/13/2007 9:13:50 AM | | Yes 'The crying game' is an excellent movie and example, but no sorry i dont think i could because the now man would still have feminine qualitys and i would know they was once a woman...just couldn't | |

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/13/2007 9:22:19 AM | No sorry i couldn`t, it would be gross, i`m with him above its a bit freaky, and the guys who want to be girls look so masculine and tower at 6ft 2
if i met one accidently i would like them to tell me, and not keep it a secret, as that would be mean, and a terrible shock.

| Post op transsexuals. Posted: 6/13/2007 9:25:12 AM | MSg47, what's the forum collective, is it anything to do with the Borg?
I personally have been quiet on this thread as I have been thinking what my answer is, and the only one I can come up with is "I honestly don't know". I have always said that if I ever met a man I wanted to sleep with (and he wanted to sleep with me, naturally) I would. I never have done, which leads me to be fairly sure I am heterosexual. I suppose on the same basis, if I met a transsexual I was sexually attracted to then I would. I have to add that, just as I have never met a man I was sexually attracted to, I have never yet met a transsexual I was sexually attracted to, in my personal experience the few I have met have retained some very masculine characteristics/features which I found unattractive.
