| What Guys like and dislike in womens profiles
Posted: 12/6/2007 5:37:06 AM | I've seen a few profiles where the woman has stated her idea of a first date..............at a guess it would cost around two grand to entertain these self indulgent b1tches for one day.
All BS aside to throw that sort of money at a stranger........i'd rather give the money to cancer research or the childrens hospital. | |

Posted: 12/8/2007 6:31:15 AM | I (for one)... hate profiles. I can't bear the idea of people looking at 'me' (my profile) in the same fashion they look at cans of beans in a super market shelve.
And I hate to think, we have become impersonal enough as to see people as objects, where the label (or the cover of the book) becomes a way for giving a peak into people's self. | |

I am sorry, but for me a two line profile with no photo seems to indicate a person with no depth or substance. I would defiantly go for the beans with more information and as they say, a picture says a thousand words. Your profile does not have to be personal. I have seen some really great abstract creative thought provoking profiles. | |

Probably... and most of them will be actually hooking up in the real world...instead of just sitting in front of a pc browsing profile after profile...
Personally, I think profiles are just an invention of our so-called modern times, where we want to save time at all cost... but on things we actually should be spending more.... | |

I look at a profile as being a sound bite of what you're like but trying not to limit too much what the other person is like. I too don't like generalised statements and my pet peeve is spelling mistakes. Im not a spelling nazi but its a free site and its not like they are charging you by the word!!! | |

I have my pic on my profile so that people know what I look like. I do this because whether we admit it or not, how a person looks does influence the way we think of them, especially in the early part of a relationship. Luckily though most people aren't that shallow and leave it just to looks...they move on and find much more appealing aspects of a person cuch as their personality and beliefs. | |

Surely we all go by looks initially and thats not at all shallow...its just nature. It takes a long time to find out properly about someones personality, so the looks are what attract us initially.
But then im shallow so I would say this.
I have made my profile as unattractive as possible......must try harder!!! | |

Posted: 12/22/2007 5:03:55 PM | I am just mortified that somebody with your opinion of women have been on this site since 2004 and have not moved on~! Few pointers in the ways of some women~ We dont meddle in our childrens lives we just want to help lead them down a safe & secure path, with society today, we want to ensure they dont mix with the wrong crowds. We like to be there to catch them when they fall, (where is the problem with that) although your only the observer, we women actually endured 9 months of pregnancy with that child as close to our hearts as anybody could get, that seal can never be broken, a bloke that doesnt understand a mothers love! isnt worth the time of day! I have 3 precious gifts, my 2 eldest boys have moved on to better adventures but will never leave my heart. My daughter still needs my guidance, and hopefully I do a good enough job so she can go out into this world with the confidence and support only a mother can give. I personally would love to travel, party, do things I actually want to do but we take parenting responsibility very serious, we dont just up & run when the going gets tough like most blokes do! we nurture and take care of our children without running away! Baggage............shit who doesnt have baggage.....blokes just tend to leave theirs behind when they run!
No women arent looking for the past, they would love new adventures, unfortunately responsibilities that women take very seriously sometimes prevent us from moving away atm. doesnt mean they dont want somebody to share their world with!
& NO I dont want a bloke to make me laugh but it would be nice to share my happiness with someone~ the world is funny enough~
Boring repetitive days??? well thats our life~~~ we usually dont get time to watch soapies...........I personally work 8 hour days, come home & cook dinner, do the washing, cleaning, drive children to the sporting or extra-curricular activities, take my daughter to her work & wait up to pick her up again, thats weekdays just to name a few chores, weekends is full of lawn mowing, gardening, working, cleaning etc etc........so please.............where do we have time for soapies?
Know how to have fun??????/ please find me time for fun while trying to support a family, supply a roof over their heads and pay bills while trying to feed & clothe them and pay for a decent education!
and is it worth it?????? wouldnt trade it for anything but would be nice to share it!
my daughter achieved DUX when she was in year 6....I was there when she received a standing ovation from the community for recieving 4 awards at presentation night~
My daughter is now in year 9 and came first in maths~ my boys are also successful in there chosen fields~ oh where was daddy..............he ran after gambling everything and leaving me & kids on street with nothing..............yep thats women...........maybe boring..........but I did that!!!! | |
