| What Guys like and dislike in womens profiles Posted: 4/18/2007 8:46:00 PM | Hey stormy! You rock dude, well said, absolutely well said.
If a profile includes "princess" Or "Make me laugh" "Knight in shining armor" Equates to: "I'm looking for perfect, if your anything but, don' bother" so far, and i've got one to add too.
"Down to earth" Pffft, dream on, it equates to "Yeah i'm making myself seem more approachable but i'm not gonna reply anyway"
I'd rather be out on in a boat fishing early sunday morning. Or camping on the weekend. and i'm trying to find a partner who will enjoy doing that sort of thing with me, seems she doesn't exist though unfortunately.
By the way, likes in profiles
- Tell me what you really enjoy, I don't care how simple/ordinary it is. I don't want a "Life of the party" "centre of attention" "Princess" Or anything - Learn the english language again, "2" does not equal to and so on.
I just want an ordinary girl!

when we all know that there is only one perfect that is GOD
This is a people thread, not a delusional one.
I just want an ordinary girl
Thanks cobber, an ordinary girl, gets you all the things we don't like in women. What you seek, and most men do as well, is an extraordinary girl. One that lives in the real world and not in a fantasy of mirrors, illusional expectations and holier than thou attitudes. To find one, you have to step outside the norm, look in places that will give you women who are real. Looking at someone who wears high heals, make up and spends 80% of their time looking in a mirror, is heading down the path of boring misery. But don't give up hope, they are around, just few and far between. The rest are wanna be's, expecting you to give them what they want. but never entertaining what will make you both happy. You can't get happiness from a shop, cake or made up face, just from real life.

And let me rephrase that, by ordinary girl I mean extraordinary girl, by todays standards. The kinda chick i'd love to be with is pretty rare these days, she's out there though, somewhere.

Even God allowed us to be human! Don't lay how you're feeling in the moment and expect someone to understand .. especially if they don't know you that well...and who is Gypsy?? LOL Greg! | What Guys like and dislike in womens profiles Posted: 4/22/2007 4:54:09 AM | I thought about this thread this morning as I put on my make-up and admired myself in the mirror. Then I doused myself liberally with perfume, popped on my tiara and teetered out the door in my six inch heels. I took my kids to school and then off to the shops for some retail therapy and to stock up on more make up, clothes and perfume. After that was my usual morning visit to the bakery where I stocked up on cream buns and lamingtons, they always make me feel better and compensate for whatever it is that I'm missing in my shallow and hedonistic life.
Off home to watch my daily soaps and then before I knew it, time to pick up the kids. Back to the mirror to freshen up my make-up and perfume and out to school where I waited outside their classrooms and whisked them straight off to my car (my royal carriage was in the shop being fixed) lest any less desirable children should have contact with my little precious ones. Then home to some nutritionally valuable but tasteless snacks and off to their elocution, posture and junior fashion classes.
Off to a party that evening where I must say I was the life of the party, everyone laughed at my zany jokes and luckily for me there was lots of bakery product to be had there. Unfortunately I didn't meet a knight in shining armour to sweep me off my feet but I am confident that a goddess like myself won't stay single for long. Surely there is a tall dark handsome man out there who can make me laugh.
Anyway, I digress, what I wanted to say was that I am sorry that stormbay is so bitter and disgruntled with the female gender that he feels the need to make sweeping generalisations about us. Perhaps a little sojourn to the rainforest with the naked lady will soothe his troubled soul.

| What Guys like and dislike in womens profiles Posted: 4/22/2007 11:17:41 PM | This is a thread about what men like and dislike in women's profiles. I stated what I dislike. As I said, If I found one that expressed what I saw as the ideal approach to a relationship, then that's what I would like.
I'm not extraordinary, nor do I seek an extraordinary women, just a real one and not a painted clone. Luckily, there are women who are prepared to step outside the revolving door existence and have a real life, that provides freedom, security and trust, without the ideological hangups. I'm lucky that I have found one of those, just need one more to make up the trio, to take the next step in evolution, as well as form a touring band.

| What Guys like and dislike in womens profiles Posted: 6/9/2007 5:54:03 AM | I had mentioned this elsewhere, but "ladies" profiles who only want "FRIENDS" but place pics of themselves draped on the bed wearing underwear, and not much to the imagination, always make me laugh, and on the flipside there's the girl, who wants the whole box & dice who puts a nice pic of herself, with a good read-up will always get my attention first over the "look I have boobies" kinda girl.
Also the profiles, that are basically a shopping list, sorry.. but most of you have got it right but there are the minority who WILL be waiting a longtime for an email, as there is only one Brad Pitt and he's got someone, and also the same profiles are pretty specific as to what you will, and will not be getting..AND the profiles that basically imply if you meet all but one criteria in my profile, try elsewhere.
No one person is perfect, so maybe if we stopped creating profiles, as if we were buying a car with all the fruit ticked off on the sheet, that may help, just my thoughts

| What Guys like and dislike in womens profiles Posted: 6/9/2007 5:37:14 PM | I like it when a guy can't string a written sentence together in his profile and when he writes 2 and gr8 and LOL. Love it when he writes that he likes candlelit dinners followed by a moonlight walk on the beach. Gives me lady wood. | |
|
| What Guys like and dislike in womens profiles Posted: 6/9/2007 10:12:42 PM | "lady wood"? according to the Urban Dictionary:
1. (horticultural) A perennial bud found in moist valleys, and which like to nestle up against redwoods.
2. (anatomical) A perineal bud found in moist valleys, and which like to be jostled by redwoods.
edited of course, never heard the term, but got it none the less!
and Serenex, as long as the Valiant is sprayed purple! with fluffy dice and a dashmat made from chest hair...BEWDIFULLL!
as for candle lit dinner? usually occurs when one forgets to pay the power bill....
