You would hate shopping with me - I once grabbed 2 armfuls of douche off the shelf and ran up to my ex saying "Do you think this will be enough??". He thought it was funny after, but during he gave me one of those looks. I don't even use the stuff I just thought it might make him laugh because we were arguing. At least condoms aren't a prescription for an std medication, nothing wrong with being proactive, which would you rather be buying. Just go in there like a pro if you can't find em and say I'm out of condoms, what aisle are they in? You are OUT, the truth may be that they were never IN, but the store clerk has no clue.
Read the boxes, take your time, enjoy the moment. Then toss them in your cart with attitude oh and stay away from lambskin and go for nonoxynol 9. :P | |

i had to return a box to Costco once for the same reason (42 condoms that are too small is quite a useless investment.. and i had a g/f of 5+yrs at the time so dont get the wrong idea and think that replying to this thread means i am a slut or something... quite the opposite) | |

I simply said, face flaming, I'm sure, that I needed assistance on aisle 8. Here comes the twenty-something guy. Face gets even redder as I tell him what I want. He smiles and knowingly unlocked the cabinet while asking me if I know what I want yet. Dang!!!! "Just let me look at them." I did, but he was standing there grinning. My date had made a few veiled references to his large size, so, believing him, I finally grabbed some large ones. The guy looked at me and said, "Ahhhhh...." It was awful!!!!! Geezzzzz.... | |

I ask the store assistant (usually a cute chick who looks above 18) where the condoms are...she then either tells me the aisle number or shows me personally. If it's the former I tell her to show me where they are...
Once we reach the aisle, I tell her, "Wow, you've got a helluva lotta new brands on here - any recommendations?" - and at that point I look at her seductively. She then either giggles and tells a couple of recommendations and then I chat her up some more and get her number or she just points to one and then runs away.

So are all the other sex aides...like warming gel, etc. I don't like to just go and grab. I like to look at the stuff and see what's available...read the packages. Invariably, the bench directly in front of the "sex shelf" is filled with old geezers who stare as I look at different sizes, colors, ribbed, etc. And yeh, it is sort of embarrassing. | |

When I was 18 and staying in Belgium with my girlfriend, she was Dutch, at her familys house in Brussels, High school Grad present, we were in a coastal village in Holland she told me what to say in Dutch to buy comdons at the drug store, right? What she diden't tell me was how odd it would be for an 18yr old American in 1974 to do such a thing with such bad Dutch, and in a conservative village. I got the strangest stares from these ladies, they were the pharmacisits, and snickers when bought them. Then I get outside and find her around the corner damn near on the ground in sticthes, laughing her butt off at what she know would happen. What cold Isay but, "yeah you got me"
