| get this Alabama board going Posted: 6/11/2007 8:45:19 PM | Well now there are six. I live in Fairhope. I am 57, some of ya'll are lots younger but hey we can still have fun. I just found this site and like it as there are mnay in this area and am moving to H'ville after Sept, when my house sells, but there are lots there too.
I sat on my porch last night and heard some live music downtown FAirhope, get a book and see what is going on in Daphne/Fairhope.There is a balloon show in Foley coming up really soon. I saw that somewhere. Google the area you live and see and then invite others to joni you. There are lots of good people, male and female on this site. I have a list of emails and love the company I get. I had surgery in Jan and it has been great fellowship.
Anyway, back to doing something in this area, how do we codntact all in AL? Is there a way? God night people!. I am having fun... Vicki

No offense to people from MS...
In my experience the most people online are from the large urban areas and almost all of Canada.

| get this Alabama board going Posted: 6/25/2007 2:15:27 PM | | Amen!! Maybe we should all move to Canada!! Better air and better people.....or maybe not..LOL | |

Oh hell-I'm going to Louisiana---guess I'm gonna have a longer drive than you. Does that mean I get to sleep in your tent next time?

| get this Alabama board going Posted: 6/27/2007 8:01:52 PM | I'm seriously considering moving away within 2 years time. I don't feel like I really fit in here in Alabama even though I grew up here. Football? What's that?
I'm not sure where to go but Texas and Florida sound nice.
|
| get this Alabama board going Posted: 6/27/2007 8:08:32 PM | Lived in Texas---hated it. Florida is beautiful if you are by the beaches.
But as a transplant--I have learned-people fit in everywhere and no where. No place is perfect--and every place is perfect.
I am going back to Louisiana this Friday---and I'm already starting to miss Georgia--even though I never thought of it as home.

| get this Alabama board going Posted: 7/8/2007 12:32:35 PM | The Alabama board seems to be quite sluggish. No wonder we rank 50 out of 50 in so many areas. Needs life!!!!! Come on folks! | |

| get this Alabama board going Posted: 7/8/2007 6:02:19 PM | I used to post quite frequently in here (different name, some time ago) but so rarely got even an answer that it seemed futile. I'm actually glad to see so many people posting here now. So...now that I'm back in the water again, I'm giving it another shot!
Hi fellow 'bamaians! Looking forward to getting to know all of you better.
