yeah, when I was younger I liked going to porn shops to people watch...
you know, the unsexpecting woman looking at vibraters for the first time, hiding so that I do not see her...
you know, the gay man with a glimmering smile of hope as I avoid making eye contact..
you know, the freak in the long trench coat who looks at me as I give him the look of, show that thing and I will rip it off of you and shove it down yer throat...
you know, the couple checking out porn videos,as I have a smile of glimmering hope of a 3some...
you know, the mature woman looking to buy a new vibrater cause she wore the last one out,as I watch her she replies with the thought that, there is no way you would be better than this and displays a 12 inch black dildo...
you know, the lonley guy looking at the lesbian porn section....

oh by the way JK

Watching people as you pull up to a red light. Simply amazing how many of them will pick their nose or perform other bodily functions in plain sight..it's quite enlightening really, like a glimpse into the mad minds of humanity..

Fairs, malls, open air concerts, anywhere people can let go a little and be themselves. I like the porn shop idea though. Sort of a candid camera moment.

Or just watch them post away. Mad-minded humans. You think? Lots of habits can enlighten you as to who people really are. Watch 'em wherever and however much you please as long it not be stalking. Watch them be themselves and maybe get thier attention and/or a real suprise.Nice weather, more opportunities to watch. Watch and Learn. Get caught and who knows.

I do, but not in the sense of these other posters.
It always amazes me how uncomfortable most people are just going about their daily lives. And it isn't just fat or ugly people, 'pretty' people do it too. It makes me wonder if humans are really meant to be as social as the modern forces us to be?

That in my opinion be the purpose of the site. Get to know folks you normaly couldn't. The problem with being single is you're not used to being around couples. For me not used to being around single situations involving guys and gals. Everyone has being alone tendencies best not known till you know them to a certain degree. We be socially inclined but are animals at times too.

I will sit at Starbucks and sketch people doing various things....... most of them are standing in line or sitting watching other people.

But I like the idea of adding your own subtitled commentary to the person's conversation.

Having done a lot of things by myself for a long time I take every opportunity to watch people, when I see someone whos body language tells me they are interesting people, I try to strike up a conversation, have build a few friendships that way.

I'm a lucky girl and live in the West-End so pick a Patio or a Beach. Can't loose either way!!!!

Likewise. Though sometimes I hide from the people, especially this time of year since there are SO many more of them. :)

Watching people at the bar before closing time can be interesting, but my favorite place is at a boat launch on a busy afternoon, usually good for some carnage. funny how many people forget to put in the plugs, then realize it after they have pulled the trailer out of the water. Boats dont go back on the trailer very well when they are full of water. Also it amazes me how some people cant back up a trailer.

lol

oh man.

I have seen some FUNNY stuff at the docks when my last ex and I were on the boat.

One guy reaching to yank in a 42' boat to the dock and didn't understand physics and water.

Sploosh.

Another time my daughter and I were at the water taxi spot and a guy stepped back to move out of our way while yakking on his cell...

Sploosh and cell phone go 'buh-bye'.

I really must say most entertaining place is the bar when you're sober..... and watching how guys and gals interact when they're drunk... *very* entertaining!

Often I just sit in Tim Horton's and watch people going through the drive-through.

It always amuses me how many people look like their pets, and it's easy to see when both of them stick their head through their car window.

I like the star bucks I go to for people watching ,its beside a grocery store and not just out on the edge of the parking lot ,,there are outside tables in an area that is like a patio with heaters ,,anyway lots of foot traffic and its a great place to kick back and watch people .I used to like stopping into a pub late at night for a cold one if i wasnt sleepy but I started feeling to sober for the room ,,funny how you dont notice how drunk everyone is getting there when you start earlier with them.

I was at English Bay for a bit yesterday, and I enjoyed people watching, and absorbing all of the beautiful sights that the beach has to offer!!! I gotta go out for bike rides around the seawall more often!!!!!!!!!!
But next time, I'm bringing my swiming shorts, and some sun-screen. The left side of my neck and face is a lil pink today from just sitting on a bench with my friend from england for an hour while we absorbed the beauty around us.
