Posted: 11/4/2008 10:02:47 PM | I go to YouTube and watch hot love scenes all the time and the one that I remember from my younger days, one that stood out in my memory just like the refrigerator scene in 9 1/2 Weeks, was from a movie called Sliver starring William Baldwin and Sharon Stone.
What I love about it is the visual quality of it all. It starts with him sending her a sexy bra and panties, he has the package delivered to her at her apartment. The twist on this movie is that he has video cameras set up in her apartment and can see her when she opens them. They show Sharon Stone's face as she is turned on by the fact that he sent her these sexy articles of clothing. He watches as well when he calls her on the phone and asks her out to dinner. He tells her to wear the lingerie he sent her (again all watching as he speaks to her in this low commanding husky whisper.)
Switch to the scene in this swanky, ritzy restaurant, all crystal, linen tablecloths, chandeliers, etc. Baldwin and Stone sit at this table in the center of the room with an older couple at a table next to them. The older gentlemen white haired, wearing an expensive dark suit, his wife with her carefully coiffeured hair and stuffy, yet elegant dressy dress, are close enough that they hear and raise eyebrows at all that ensues.
Baldwin is dressed to the nines, to die for.... his dark suit white shirt, dark hair, sexy smoldering eyes. He whispers to Stone, "Are you wearing the underwear I sent you?" Stone reluctantly shows a peek with ONE button undone to reveal the bra. He whispers, "I can't see it." (again the older couple next to them is hearing and noticing, trying to not stare, all that they are doing).
Sharon Stone undoes several other buttons on her high necked formal looking black top and Baldwin SEES. She leaves those few buttons gaping. He then whispers, always in control, always commanding, "What about the panties?" Sharon Stone turns her body to the side away from the older couple and slides her long skirt up her thigh and slightly spreads her legs for him to see. AGAIN he whispers, "I can't see." So Stone continues to slide her skirt up her thighs and all the while the waiter clearing the nearby table is startled to witness what is happening. Sharon Stone slightly lifts her hips and reaches under her skirt and removes the panties in question. Baldwin cups his hands in front of his chest and Stone copies his actions but we know she has her panties in her hands.
She tosses them across the table and he catches them.
This scene DOES it for me every time... it's the build up, the control he has over her, the formal-ness of the situation, their dress, the luxuriousness of the setting, how he's set it all up, etc., and then to be there in such a straight laced public setting where everyone should be behaving ever so properly and he's looking at her, his eyes smoldering with passion.
I have such a thing for turn ons in public, build ups that involve teasing, dichotomies, if you will between how you SHOULD be and how your passionate feelings are compelling you to behave, THAT is why I get so turned on by this scene. | |

No 1. is "Out of Sight" (Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney)
Mulholland Drive which has my girlfriend Naomi Watts is no. 17. And she is in there again at 44 for King Kong
91/2 weeks which quite a few people here liked was a disappointing no 24.
Bound is no 29.
The Unbearable Lightness of Being my favorite got an honorable mention at 34.
I will say that almost all of the movies were English Language. I really think foreign directors are better at romance then American ones though and the picks seem to be more about the cast then the passion displayed by the actors. The Unbearable Lightness of Being which is Czech Language though. I think is in there because it won an academy award. Even though Naomi Watts was once the love of my life I hated Mulholland Drive, apart from Miss Watts the acting and the directing was atrocious. But again this is only the opinion of Entertainment Magazine which is not the Academy Awards by any stretch of the imagination. | |

Posted: 11/30/2008 2:32:03 PM | I have to admit, I had a bit of a crush on Mickey Rourke for a long time after his sex scenes with that model, who then become is now ex-wife, in Wild Orchid.
Angelina Jolie's various sex scenes have always been pretty hot no matter what movie she's in.
I have to admit, sometimes I get turned on by taboo type sex scenes in movies. I saw a movie recently called Normal. A young guy comes home to his jerk dad and young stepmother after his friend is killed in a car accident he was in. He's kind of a jerk to his stepmom for awhile, but he happens to catch her naked in her bedroom one day. She tells him to leave, but he comes up behind her and starts touching her, and then he gets on top of her as they fall to bed together, and have a very intense, but kind of quick sex session. Just the sounds the two of them made, and the fact that his older (but still hot) step mother let him take her, got me way too turned on. LOL. Guess I'm a bit of a pervert.
There's a lot of nakedness in a Mexican movie called Carmen. The girl in that one is very crazy, and uses men, but her sex scenes are pretty hot, along with the guy she's torturing emotionally.
I can also get turned on by "rougher" sex scenes in movies. NOT rape scenes. I hate those. There's a movie I saw recently called Lust, Caution starting asian actors. It's during political uprisings in China I believe and the government is having people tortured and killed, etc. One of the top guys is a "bad guy" and takes female lover who befriends his wife. She's actually working with a rebel group and lets him have an affair with her to get closer to him so that her group can assassinate him. The problem is, she falls for him, but he's a bit rough sexually. However, the sex scenes between them are incredibly intense and very graphic, and darnit, made me incredibly wet. | |
