I'm still confused, lost... too embarrassed to admit I couldn't find my way back to Ottawa, after attending last month's James Bond party... or, was that still this month... that was one great party... I still have a hangover... and no shoes... that's okay, this party is to celebrate Lauren, so I will buy shoes - the nicest, fanciest shoes imaginable - for this event. Being lost on the Metro all this time has left me hungry, crazy and broke, but I will buy new shoes to make a good impression. New shoes will be bought for Funky Town, from the money I will get from pawning the clothes off my back...
just kidding... This is a great event well worth joining, and I look forward to attending! | |

Ok, so delayed gratification is not my long suit LMAO...I noticed this thread and thought "Hey, why wait until JUNE to meet some of these fantabulous people?" so we are getting an Ottawa contingent together...and headin' your way...hope you guys don't mind!
And poor Stephen taking the Voyageur bus, getting lost on the wonderful metro...that just can't happen to our friend hehe...so...you got a ride to Montreal now, pal.. if you can handle being trapped in a car with us for that long hehe...feel bettah? 
Our friend Robin is in your fine city tonight as I type this and I'm sure she'll be thrilled when we tell her upon her return on Sunday that we're doing this!

May I add a suggestion Winmaker? Since there are alot of guests joining us from out of town you may want to consider getting a group rate at a hotel so that they can drink party and sleep over not having to worry about driving home afterwards....

Posted: 3/31/2007 10:05:28 PM | Well that sounds good but try and get the places that give the best rates..When I went to Burlington over the weekend for another POF party we only payed $60 per nigth and it was great....Everyone stayed there and it made it wonderful....try the Maritime Hotel they always have great rates or the Novotel..Hotel de la Montagne is always booked and I dont see great rates coming out of it...LOL
You decide though Winemaker...you are in charge...
