Tickets I own:
The Glade (20 July)
Endorse It In Dorset (10 August)
Beautiful Days (17 August)

I'm still working on the Glastonbury (22 June) thing. I'm trying to convince The Powers That Be that the scaffolding we have on site needs a 'Minder' on site at all times. Sigh. If I don't get to go I shall cry and cry until I'm sick.

EDIT: if anyone wants to find out about any festivals... try efestivals.co.uk

Yes am off to the IOW festival again this year. Can't wait for Snow Patrol and The Rolling Stones. As for the whole festival itself it is fab with a wide variety of things to do for all ages (personally I wouldn't take children) and you get to meet some really great people and relax, relax, relax, from everyday life. The Nokia Tent and The Barcardi Tent are also superb if not in the main arena!!

And sorry nooooooooooo I can't lend you a fiver lol xx

This is the first year for ages I will not be attending a festival. I am gutted as I love them, but my son thinks it's not good to go with his mum and even if I could get someone to look after him, i've got no one to go with :(

Haven't been to one in years though I was a regular at Donnington in my wild and hazy youth. My eldest is going to Download in a few weeks. Now I'm the concerned mother and I doubt that I will sleep until she comes back in one piece.

Festival season is coming up...

Last year went to IoW for first time.

Already IoW and T in Park have been sold out...IoW to me seems to have a great line up...Did try and get tickets for the first time ever for T in Park but after mate decided was too late.

Have registered for Glasto this year but am also tempted for the one in Denmark and perhaps Rock Werchter in Belgium (went many moons ago)..

Anyone been to Camp Bestival? Hebridean Celtic? Also mate has mentioned one in Frome...?

So which ones are you going too and any spare tickets? Is anyone going to try and get just one or two tickets for Glasto
?

I've been to Glasto twice with my ex and let him have the honour of going last year and it is really tempting to get one ticket and go on my own but not sure i could take not being there with someone to jump about with ... I suspect I will lose heart and not get a ticket

oh and I don't do the camping thing either, tried it once and didn't like it - Glasto only about 45 mins away so driveable

^^^ well make sure you register!

Rem its great for kids too who get in free under 10 or something..

Once the tickets have been got, there will always be someone you know who is going...

And fancy not camping....saves the 1hr 30mins round trip!

And still too short!!!

have registered

- and yes re not camping but I get to sleep in my own bed and be all clean and dry - it has chucked it down each time I've been there before and mud is survivable but so much nicer in dry clothes at the start of the day

Were going to the Wickerman festival this year with the kids! I've been to T in the park twice once with my mate in 2005 and last year with my boyfriend .Noticed the difference, they let too many people in now! Took us 8 hours to get there last year and there was no way you could get near enough to the stage to even see the main acts.

I can't wait for summer again. Did Glade, WOMAD, Big Chill, Bloom and Waveform last year. Hoping to go to Glade again, Green Man maybe, then see what else takes my fancy. Went to Glasto once at the tender age of 15, me and my then boyfriend hitched there, ah them were the days. Not sure I fancy it now it just looks too big.

I've been to Glastonbury 8 times and to be honest it aint what it used to be

Its lost some of the magic that it used to have.

My new festival of choice is the Bestival.

I've registered for Glastonbury again. Last year I didn't get a ticket, but I got a traders pass through a mate and got there anyway! I haven't missed a year for ages....

I'm aiming to do:
The Glade (been every years that its been on, and the floods last year won't put me off!)
Secret Garden (Probably working there)
Beautiful Days (again - been every year, and this year a mates band is playing).
Endorse It In Dorset (great little festival, just down the road from me!)
Big Green Gathering (love it, but its SO expensive...)
