I am always at Beautiful Days festtival and many others during the year.

Go to

http://community.webshots.com/user/peteuk001

for a few photos

I was at the first Glastonbury and have been many times over the years but it has changed
due to the excessive demand for tickets and one finds themself surrounded by portable chairs, most of the owners would never have been festival goers but have followed the trend.

I just stick to the smaller ones these days and meet friends from the 70's still!

I might go for a day at Reading this year...only down the road..prefer camping but no one to go with these days..
I went to V once but wouldn't go again...too clinical for me.

I've been to Glastonbury and Reading more times than I can remember though!

I really need better glasses, are the Red Hot Chilli Pipers any good?

Glastonbury tickets for 2009 are £175 plus a booking fee. Cheeky sods.

Would like to know headline acts first before I shell out last sort of money.

If they pull another JZEE stunt like this year I would not be happy. He was terrible.

allways went to festivels as a teenager

hendrix at the isle of wight, lincoln, weely, canned heat, blind faith, stones, floyd, ian dury, hundreds over the years, loved them all, 6 transit vans to carry the tents and about 200 bikes following

still do fest, but normally the bulldog, farmyard party, the rock and blues

Supposedly and i could be wrong but Glasto tickets are actually on sale now too? Again you can pay a £50 deposit too. Thought this was a one off but sure i had an email to say the tickets were opening again.. unless it was another wierd dream. Thankfully though if it was it didnt involve my mother, my old maths teacher and a bathtub full of melted chocolate.

Glasto is free to under 12s or something and is a perfect festival for kids. Have to say the only drawback is having to leave the main areas when your kid gets tired but then there are lots of parents who get round this by taking a wheelbarrow or the like.

A friend of mine takes her kid with her.. it really is an excellent festival. Failing that there is always Camp Bestival in Dorset which is described as a family festival. And failing that there is alwyas the basement with alock on it and enough food and water for 4-5 days.

VVVV do you not find that strange..?

I nearly went to Bearded Theory last weekend, but having checked the severe weather warning Friday morning I decided to go clubbing instead. The main stage got blown over by a mini tornado. Eek.

I'm hoping to get to Glade again this year, Free rotation, maybe the Big Chill, Sunrise (aka Mudrise). I'm going to leave it till the last minute before deciding this year though, last year I got very, very muddy.
