Posted: 5/3/2008 4:47:17 PM | Mother's Day is soon to be upon us, I reflect on my own relationship with my mother which is very nil, I do however appreciate the great love/bond that I have with my own three children and pray I always will.
Soon a day shall come
where we are to honour
our life giver
whom we all know to be our mom
It is with sadness
that I only remember her sweetly in memory
for years now this one who gave me life
my eyes do not see
Our two worlds shifted
rapidly in one single day
it was at that moment
from her I fell away
So with Mother's Day coming
I can only sit back to remember how it used to be
for sadly I walk forward alone
never again with her to make a memory
With a solid brick wall between us
acting as a true divide
I tuck away childhood memories
as well as this pain that still does reside. | |

Always another memory that makes us feel the things we see. It is not out of hurt that we display ...simply is the way...it made us feel. The rest of our lives...we carry it!
Finally comes the time to set it.......Free! Rid our souls of the pain and misery.
It was not our fault!
Barely probably theirs either...
simple minds with big issues and little to see with!
I know your rainbows are ever bigger than anything she ever chased...
she will always wish that she gave ...back!
