Apples & Wine
Women are like apples on a tree. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apple from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when really they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
Now, men.... men are like fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the Sh#t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

Also - there will be a party the night after your April 28th Luau at the Sarasota Cay Club. I know you've been to these dances before and they are still just as much fun as always! Whatever we can do to help each other, let me know.

Bellalynda-thanks for the use of your home and the delicious homemade pizza, you are a great hostess.
Kat941- I really enjoyed meeting you and I can tell you and I are going to be great friends.
Jade1151- It was great meeting you at the block party and spending the rest of the evening and the morning with you, Dennis, Holidayboy, Brad etc. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself at this party. Plan on another longgggggggggg evening LOL
Took a "reader's digest" version of a hula lesson with a couple of the other women (that one's for you bella), so this should prove to be a very interesting dance with only one practice. Have mercy on us please !!!!!!!

Posted: 4/25/2007 9:22:14 AM | Ladies, Don't you think the guys were good sports last night, having to give up the "protection" of their jeans and expose all those pale legs to the light of the camera!!
We girls may be the ones who "talk about" being modest, yet try to get a DYEHARD, JJEANS MAN to dawn a pair of shorts and get his picture taken isn't easy.
And Ron, for your information, we took the camera away from out Number One photographer, and asked the guys to leave before we practiced the Hula. So you didn't miss out on anything.
Kat941, we will need to talk about the Music Download sometime today, please call me when you get a break in the office today. It was wonderful to meet such a gentle, warm and funny lady as yourself. I'm so glad you have joined our group.
Lynda, the Homemade pizza was a very pleasureable way to end the evening, and gave us a great chance to get to know those who were there.
GUYS.................PLEASE DO NOT WRITE IN ABOUT LAST NIGHT AS YOUR PARTICIPATION IS SUPPOSE TO REMAIN SECRET. Any thanks you have to offer Lynda for her hospitality should be sent to her directly by PRIVATE E-mail. Yet, guys we girls do think very highly of you for being willing to Strip of those jeans.
Laurene, can you believe it is tiome to start planning the next months party? I think it is great that Tom came up with the TOGA PARTY THEME. It has been a very enjoyable month for me, and I have met some interesting and fun people while hoisting this months party. I would recommend anyone wanting to increase the number of people you want to bring into your life, with this group VOLUNTEER!!
These parties take 5-6 core people, with another 5-6 who will jump in when needed, to pull together sucessfully.
ARE THERE 10-12 VOLUNTEERS OUT THERE THAT WILL MAKE A COMMITMENT TO BE ON THE LIST TO HELP LAURENE AND TOM WITH THE TOGA PARTY NEXT MONTH???? WRITE IN AND LET US KNOW!!!!

Posted: 4/25/2007 9:37:29 AM | I will need 4-6 people willing to come by the Slip knot Sat., during the day to decorate. I will get a time approved by to Sharon, the Slip Knots Manager today. We will be setting up tables and stapling up decorations. No construction degree needed, just willing hands and a cheerful attitude. It'll be like a "pre-party party"-not to be confused with the "pre-party-party" Ron is having to prepare the Ceremonial Fruits, on Friday Night.
We will be crowning The 2007's -KING FISH, to oversee our festive event Saturday Night. Who will that deserving man be??? His servents, the Semi-Professional Hula dancing troup, are the only ones trusted with THAT information. You'll have to wait and see. | |

A few of us were hoisted right into doing something that's out of our comfort zone like take hula lessons and saying we would perform in front of the group.  Only you could get us to do it.
I don't even want to think about the next party yet. I just want to enjoy this one.
Hey I didn't see any sexy legs last night. As soon as the men arrived they were whisked off to a private room. Guess I'll have to try to guess who's legs they are. LOL | |

One of the voices in my head is telling me to run like hell, one is calling me an idiot, one an idiot with two left feet and the other 47 are just laughing their arsses off. What ws I thinking? Apparently, I wasn't. No one knows where I live, maybe I can get out of this yet.....
Lynda, fantastic seeing you again and "bonding". Thank you for making me feel like I had been in your home a hundred times before. Dinner was great!!!
Laurene, I couldn't agree more, think we will be getting into all kinds of trouble together. Better re-start my "bail money piggy bank"
Kimmie, Thank you for your calming effect and that glint in your eyes that if I don't show up for the Hula extravaganza, you will hunt me down. I have certainly humiliated myself before in public, it looks like I am about to add to the list. Will get in touch with you re: music as soon as I can track my elusive child down for assistance.

She is the Photo wiz in the family. She has done a wonderful job of profecting the talent she has been blessed with. Her Black and white collection of the devistation from hurricane charley is worth seeing. I hope you will all welcome her, She is a treasure to me!!! | |
