Allison ~ LTM Party in Port Charlotte has the Hula skirts. I myself, will not be wearing one. But if any skirts fall off that night, my Tiki Bar can always use more.

Kim: the pics were of the tiki masks that I put on my deck, the theme setters are huge and over 5 feet tall.

Bylle is at church and I intend to eat the left over Baklava ... ...

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE !! Its a beautiful day and Im outta here, gonna catch some sunshine ... ... ...

The has been a Bylle sighting! Sombody show here how to sign up for the party I think she got lost on her way to the computer.
Has anyone ever had Chocolate Gravy??? Jerry's Mom makes it every holiday for breakfast!!After attending church with Jerry's folks , He and I are on our way out to Sanibel, for Dinner with my 4 children. My oldest daughter manages the Lazy Flamingo out there and has to work today so we are all joining her there. Her baby is 5 month old and she is sad that she is working on his first Easter.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day at whatever you choose to do.

God Bless you all, Kimmie and Jerry

Taxman, our Ambassador of Fun, is Laurene, she has done a wonderful job developing the "once a month Party/Dance scene" for all of us, she said "she could use a break", she didn't retire. Tom's idea is a good one and for Tom to work together with Laurene to put together a Toga party is a great idea, but lets be respectful to all the hours of work and expense Laurene has gone thru for us all. Please forgive me, everyone, if you think my comments are "too outspoken", yet this is how I feel. The "Ambassador of Fun", is not a "Paying Job", yet it is a job, no less.

Jump in Tom, if you are serious about wanting to have a"Toga Party", and if you want to help set it up. If not,if you were just throwing out an idea ,then, someone else should take the idea and run with it (together with Laurene), next month. How about Tom and/or Taxman steppin' up??? How does everyone else feel about this subject?

I hope you all had a wonderful day.
Sweet Dreams All, 3am is just around the corner!
Thanks for everyones support, and help on our up coming Luau, Kimmie

Thanks Kimmie for the wonderful comments. I have enjoyed ever moment of the planning as well as meeting everyone at POF parties. It's not work when you meet such great people and lifelong friends.

I think Kimmie is doing a great job with this one and she has some great plans. It's obviously working sister because I see you have a lot of new people signed up.

I look forward to seeing everyone new and old again.

And Tom if you want to do a Toga Party we can do it together if you like. Had a great time at your place on Saturday and it was nice seeing everyone again.

Take care,

Laurene

Laurene, sounds like your energy level is back up to full swing, and the Toga party for May sounds great. Start Brainstorming everyone. Costumes, decorations.....oh yea....I'm already working on this one. As a designer and seamstress, this is all right up my alley. Speaking of which, we have a new guest who signed up who is also a designer. Artist1962.....welcome.

Over the weekend we were joined by Fairedreamer, berkshireblonde, HotItaliancutie, MissFlorida102, SSGGKK67, StarryNight Mark, (Hi Mark, I've got a job for you-RE:the party) and SW Florida man....none other than "the Toga Man TOM!! Great party Sat night, thanks so much .

Newcomers, if you have been to our parties before welcome back, how about a post to say hello, or add any ideas you might have for the Luau. Those of you who are new need to know that writing in on this forum is how you can" introduce yourself" to those attending the party...so you won't feel like you are walking into a crowd of strangers. Also, FYI, you can brinbg friends, family members -this group is multi-generational, and that also makes it more comfortable for some newcomers.

BellaLynda, good to see you Sat. night as well. How about getting your friend to sign up for the party. And please tell him I do want to get a Bible study going here in Punta Gorda. Love Ya, Girl!!
I'll write more this evening, (or if the computer guy get my laptop working at my studio today I'll post during the day).

Thank you , all,for the opportunity to be your Host, I'm truly enjoying the experience. Kimmie

Kim, that's why I originally suggested that Tom organize the next party because I thought laurene could use a break from this!

How about YOU??
Posted: 4/9/2007 8:33:18 AM
Taxman, how about you helping to set up a party. It takes about 4 people to set one up without putting all the burden on Laurene, yet she still will hold the title of Ambassador of Fun, in this part of the world. We'll miss you at this months party, yet it's great that you still write in, thanks, Kimmie

...........I had a wonderful time at the party Saturday night and it was great to meet more new people! Thanks very much to the host for a very nice gathering!

Kimmie, my friend may be out of town the weekend of the next party, but if his plans change I think he'd like to join us. He's a POF member so he'll see your post regarding the bible study in PG. Tell Jerry thanks for the dance, he's such a sweetie. You two are such a GREAT couple and it's fun to watch you two together. Laffs......it reinforces my thought that there's hope for me yet at this stage of my life!

Is it the 28th yet?????

Wow Bruce -dumping Leesburg for a POF party. I'm really impressed. And I will dance with you, you know that. I enjoyed dancing with you Saturday. It was nice seeing you Bellalynda,Kimmie,Jerry, Ron, Gene, Kathy, Dennis, Diana, and of course Tom the host and the rest of his gang.

Wow competing against Biker chick eh? I think we can handle it. I'm not sure if I look better in a hula skirt than I would chaps, but you'll have to let me know at the party.

uh huh!!!! all is forgiven, especially after your most generous comment on the other thread!!!! now regarding the table top dance & chaps ??? i am not even touching that topic !! to use a very old biker quote which i'm sure you've heard many times !! not making any age related comments !! "if you got it... flaut it !!!!" for those not of the lifestyle they certainly can appreciate the results !! who needs leesburg when one has such interesting characters to chat with & dance with !!!!

Bruce, Still got it. But my Dad, who was very wise, said a woman's greatest weapon is a man's imagination. Hell, now what do I do.
Anyway, really look forward to seeing you,

Rut Ro, somebody wants to bite dear Bruce. And 3 pair of chaps, just hanging by their lonesomes in the garage. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe I can wear the chaps under my hula skirt. LOL

Looks like ladies, there's a gentleman out there willing to be fought over. Bring it on. LOL

And where's the "hot Italian boy" Dennis, I'm thinking you might want to have a few dances. We already know you give great "lap dances"

It was nice dancing with you Saturday, but I'm afraid I didn't get my "Dennis fix" we didn't get to do the swing. So, I hope you "swing" with me at the party.

3 pair of chaps...
Posted: 4/9/2007 12:44:07 PM
Bikerguy45, it's great to see you signed up!! I enjoyed meeting you Sat. night....Now what is this??3 pair of chaps hanging in the garage.....does that mean you are looking for three women, willing to wear them and take turns going for rides with you? Speaking of Chaps, I custom made them in Oklahoma, for the bike repair shop I worked out of. They repaired bikes and boats and I upholstered seats for both, along with jetski/waverunners. Not much I can't do with my sewing machines!!

Kat941, are you a Harley owner? or rider? Welcome. It's fun to have so many Harley riders in our group, welcome one and all.

Theguy4u, so you are back for another party with this bunch, hope you had fun at the last one.

Tina, Joey, are you two going to make it to the party? Still don't see you two signed up.
I enjoyed our visit Sat. night.

Buffy, I'm looking forward to getting together you soon,

Later everyone, Kimmie
