Posted: 8/3/2006 5:39:43 PM | | i miss havein cuddle so much so i have cuddle my kitten alot cos i have no one to cudle up to&u miss it alot when u not had anyone for ages.when cuddlin with someone it means alot to u like makes u feel wanted&loved&special&well liked&A happy feelin.i been single 6 or 7 years now so u well miss it&desprate for a hug&cuddlin but its just been hard gettin mr right cos of my disabilties&in wheelchair&illnesses so alot get put of with way i am&cant exept way i am.so i still out there lookin for right person | |

As a teen, I often wondered why my (single) Mother didn't hug me and my brother more often. I think that a person can go so long without physical affection that they start to become uncomfortable with it and forget they need it. I recall working in hospitals and nursing homes, how receptive the sick were to a gentle touch even when being administerd with the most unpleasant of medical procedures. Can you imagine how some elderly confined to nursing homes or in their own homes, feel not ever touching anyone or being touched. It's so rejuvinating to them to have someone just hold their hand and vice versa. We're so uptight. I say, for a start, lets bring back good old fashioned hand shakes with those we are just getting to know.
I cuddle with my cat and I hug my daughter and my Mom whenever I can. As far as cuddling with a man, it's long overdue.
