They feel awkward and sometimes I jump despite myself (due to being beaten up) And I went a long time not getting the cuddles, hugs, smacks, kisses from someone special.
Even, my late husband could not cuddle much when he was ill (2002-2004); just head hugs.
So, it is really beautiful to cuddle now. I do it constantly, or sometimes just sit and stare at my bf; sounds corny but it's true.
Spooning and side cuddle at night is soooo good for my sleep. 
I sleep better at my bf's place than my own, alone.
I still cry sometimes at home alone - my wimp out time. | |

There's the thing.... people think they know you, but they only know what you reveal.

We can tell our deep dark secrets here, because as wonderful as these people seem,
for the most part they are strangers.
If they judge too harshly or say something we don't want to hear,
it's not someone that we have to deal with eye to eye.
I feel exactly the same thing, for similar reasons from the sounds of it.
And I oddly find myself confessing things to the people on here, that
I would never considering telling most people I know in real life. (my best friend
being my one exception, I think she knows almost every deep dark secret I have)
And thanks for the hug... needed that today....
