| Cuddling

I have committed myself to NC (no contact) with my ex boyfriend.
But when I think of cuddling and spooning... *sigh*
Then I have to force myself not to pickup the phone and beg him to sleep over. Just for a hug.
I haven't called yet. But last night was a tough moment.
And then I think back to the last couple of bf's and decide, no, I could never call them up just for a hug. They would think it was a booty call. And I have no interest in opening up past relationships.
So then I am left with my poor cat. And cats will only take so much mauling. And they certainly don't quite fit against my 5' 10 frame. *sigh*
After a while, with much disgust, my cat extricates herself from my clutches, and takes a flying leap off the bed. Away from the madwoman who just wants a hug. Gawd, I miss it! | |

I was a "volunteer baby cuddler" all through my late highschool and university years. I worked at a hospital with premature babies, or babies whose parents lived too far away to come every day. All I had to do was hold and cuddle and talk to babies.
That certainly gave me an "affection fix" when I was lonely. *laugh* | |

Cuddling is part of any relationship and it shows true emotions/feelings for one another as well. Just relaxing on the couch watching a program/movie and able to cuddle is natural for a couple who are in love. Even sitting beside your mate and putting your fingers through her/his hair is so intimate and natural. Even having your legs over one another is like togetherness and a warm feeling. It shows your feelings/emotions toward each other and able to express them without saying a word.
For those who say get away or I’m not in the mode is like a slap in the face or wake up call saying they are not really into you like you are to them.

Being a baby cuddler would probably do it for me too. When my youngest was in the NICU, I used to stay at the hospital from 6am until at least 11pm. I was there for every feeding during that time, and I'd call during the night to see how her feedings went. I'm sure there's one nurse who will never forget the way I flew off the handle when she told me to put my baby back in her cot as soon as she was done her bottle. She had spent some time in an incubator, and had been tube fed, so when she was able to sleep in a cot, and I was able to cuddle her with less tubes in the way, that's all I wanted to do. I told the nurse that if she would just look at the charts she would see that my baby was progressing better than any other baby in there, and that I was the only parent who spent that much time in the NICU and holding my baby. Nobody ever told me to put my baby down again.
mmmmmm .... cuddles ...
I could cuddle my children all day and cuddle a man all night ... can get enough cuddling.
