Posted: 11/8/2007 12:12:24 PM | Some of us men call it manscaping. I figured, if I'm going to go down on a woman, I would prefer her to be shaved. I for one don't like picking the hair out of my mouth or acting like a cat and coughing up a hair ball. So in return, I shave my goods too. I don't want her to worry about picking the hair out of her mouth or teeth or trying to cough up a hair that's in the back of her throat. Not only that, but that gives her more of a incentive to suck me more without having to worry bout the hair. It's a win win situation. But shaving your private parts doesn't mean your gay. It also makes your shl0ng look bigger too. Not that I need it. | |

It's ok for everyone to have their preferences for or against, or somewhere in between. What I find annoying  are the people who judge others as more or less heterosexual, clean, manly, etc., because others prefer something different.
Just because you prefer something a certain way doesn't make the alternative to your preference somehow abnormal, deficient, impaired, etc. -- sheesh! Didn't you learn anything about thinking clearly when you were in school???
It's just stupid to argue  over preferences. 2 + 2 = 4. That's not a preference, it's a fact. On the other hand, "Steak tastes better than chicken," is a preference; an opinion. If YOU prefer Steak, then it tastes better to you, which is fine. Another may prefer the taste of chicken -- more power to him/her!  But for one to then argue over a matter of preference or, worse, :cyring: to insult, diminish, deride, etc., the other for their different preference seems rather childish to me.
I think the world might improve slightly if people were suddenly to start using qualifiers like "to me" and "in my opinion"  a whole lot more, and generalizations rooted in prejudice and bias a whole lot less.
And yes, I am on a bit of a high-horse  at the moment but I'll get over it; sadly, many of you will resist the idea that you're willfully ignorant  , as the inevitable retorts will plainly show  | |

Can't say I have a hard-core (no pun intended; ok, maybe a little intended - LOL!) preference about the shape but I do prefer trimmed over not. Pretty much for the same reason many women have stated: hair in teeth.

I am not real hip on guys that shave their legs and armpits but guys that shave their chest, and private area are ok with me. I am with the earlier post, if he wants any type of oral sex from me, he better be trimmed very short or better yet shaved....bottom line.
I am not a big fan of overly hairy guys, hairy chest should be trimmed down. hair on the back???? DISGUSTING you need to go have that stuff waxed. Now, if someone else bothers to do it and I am off by a few, I apologize, but I think it's pretty close. = 0 ) (For the record, I prefer a short trim)
Men - Out of 171 men, only 16 are outright against it. 155 men said that they do/have/would at LEAST trim.
Women - 175 women (including myself) make their opinions known. Of them, 25 are outright against shaving and every one of them said that they prefer things "natural"
- 78 women out 175 prefer their man completely bare
- 48 women prefer their man to be trimmed, but NOT shaven
- 20 women say at least trimmed, but don't mind either.
- 6 women were unclear as to exactly what they stated.
Now that adds up to 177 people so I seem to have double counted two ladies opinions... But I think that the results sort of speak for themselves!
There are by far more ladies out there that prefer some sort of grooming to ones who don't.
There are also far more men that either do or are willing to do whatever it takes to please their woman then there are who aren't. On a side note, a large number of the men said that they would be willing to groom, but not completely shave.
= 0 )
