Edvard Munch's "The Scream" (see third pic in my profile). One of my favourite pieces of art, and describes how I feel at work sometimes.

I love Roller coasters!!!! :-)~

Plus... life is like a roller coaster
with all the twists and turns
all the ups and downs
sometimes it's bumpy and sometimes it's smooth
sometimes thrilling.... sometimes dull
You don't always know what's over the hill!

But when the days over.... I'm always ready to jump back on!!!!!

Now if I could just find.... my Life partner that's ready to jump on that realizes.. there are no stops inbetween!!!!

Cryptofabulous... "google it" will find a definition. Bascially, there's more to me than just what you see.

Maybe ya'll can help me with mine. Google won't do you any good, though. I took Old English Lit in school, and in the glossary at the back of a reference book lent to me by one of my professors, the word wergund was defined as "protector". Years later, I returned the book to my esteemed professor (I don't think I should put her name on the net, don't even know if she's still alive.) And now I can't find a reference to it Anywhere! Have tried old Germanic, Norwegian, the gamut...if anybody can help me substantiate the claim that my name means protector, I'll buy you a beer or maybe even two. Help Wergund!

If the shoe fits, wear it! Serendipitee in a nutshell: good luck in making unexpected and fortunate discoveries; the art of discovering something unexpected while searching for something else entirely; happy chance, blessing, destiny, synchronicity, karma, providence, coincidence, accident, kismet, fate, disclosure, happenstance, opportunity, treasure trove, whatever comes, windfall. Do you feel serendipitous today?

Norolim - Noro Lim.

1. It's the name of the older of my two horses (the one in this picture)

2. It's Elvish (Lord of the Rings) for "run swiftly" (which is not a suggestion for the guys. It's just my horses name because he was meant to be an Endurance Racehorse. I've since changed my mind on that)

"Jewels" because they're girlie and often unique...
"Tools" because you're about as likely to find me with one in my hand than not...
The both of them together represent me, in a brief, tight sketch!

TorturedGardener--I LOVED that excerpt/quote!

Garf --Bless you and your little one! I laughed out loud when I read where your name came from! Makes perfect sense, now!

My name came about from a series of events:

First by grabbing silverware throwing it up into the air and rhyming part of my name to the sounds which spoons and forks make when hitting the wood floor.

The next thing was to listen to the sound of a barking dog and incorporate that somehow into my name.

Went up to a panhandler and asked him to draw one of three names from my baseball cap.

And finally used rejected birth name ideas which my mom was about to give me. (bless her heart).

Actually that name was co-created because I had input from my adult children.
I am a pisces - sea and so is my son
I have ownership of my femininity - queen and my daughter has regal qualities

Gent = where I live, plus another obvious connotation, the accuracy of which I'll leave others to judge.
05 = when I joined

Nomad1k:

The greatest moments of my life were when I would finish a 2 week hitch on a drilling rig, and hit the open road with no destination, no schedule and nothing but cash in the acccount.

Living the life of a Nomad.......

Still have the scars to prove it!

My mother just decided to call me Cleo, Cleo Williams one day. My best friend rounded it off to Kloey. For some reason, it stuck. Nothing fantastic or even remotely neat about it...

Dallasguy= Outside of Bologna there is a town called Marzabotto, and nearby is an Etruscan ruin complex. Found at that site was a cavern that contained a large box made from a metal unknown to modern science. After many years of studying the box, the Italian government decided to open the box, which was sealed from all sides and contained no known seams. The box was open, which took a team of metallurgists three years and many hours of studying the metal at an atomic level to actually open the box. Inside they found a small note engraved on a bronze mirror, written in Raetic (which is clearly known to be related to the Etruscan language, but found most predominantly in the Alps) and had a likeness of someone that looked exactly like me.

The note said that the person on the mirror was 'pretty cool' and his name was 'Dallasguy'.

I added the '99' because I thought it was awesome.
