my name on yahoo used to be poetik_justese... spelt like that because other people had already taken the normal spelling... i took that and shortened it for my graphic design copmpany... poetik design... which no longer exists :) poetik was taken on here already so i used the numbers from one of my favourite poetic bands... blink182... hence the name poetik182

Wheat_King,

Comes from a "Tragically Hip" tune here in Canada. Its how I live; not judging others until I know them and the facts.

Hellion has been my nickname since I was a little kid...
I was always raising he!! and my parents always said I was a little hellion when they described me to friends. The name stuck as I grew older and I became attached to it... I even have Red Wings (and other) jersey's with that name on the back... My friends, family, and band mates always address me as "H" or "Helli"

Mine is ... well. Sort of a multiple entendre, I guess. I'm an afficionado of things having to do with tongues. I can mangle a couple of foreign languages, and am interested in word origins and puns. I like good food, and french kissing, and whatever other things a friend and I might want to do with our tongues. I'm also a fan of a good slice of tongue with mustard on rye.

Mine is a reference to my livelihood (I work in a furniture/cabinet shop). It was inspired by a line by the late, great Jack Lemmon in the film Out To Sea.

Well, Indica is...Well you better do a websearch... Lover is because I love indica. And to my surprise, I've never had trouble making it my name, unless I come across a site that won't let me use that many characters.

My name came to me when my roommate was trying to get me to join this site.
I was reading Paradise Lost by John Milton at the time. Uriel is the name of the first angel in paradise that Satan fooled in order to get in and wreak havoc. He appeared to Uriel as a cherub that was excited about getting a glimpse of the new creations (Adam & Eve). Out of kindness, Uriel basically said, "Well ... alright ... but, don't be too long." He figured out that he let someone in he shouldn't have ... but (by then) it was too late.
I felt that I've had that feeling before in my life ... so (at the time) it seemed appropriate to me. It represented a level of kindness and love that has a tendency to leave itself ... vulnerable.

Ummm........No,I don't work at a 7-11!!!!
Never have.

No,I don't work at a Marathon service station! Nor for their corporate office.
never have.

I don't work a 11-7 shift PERIOD!
Never have.
I have run a few mini-marathons for charity

my username is a double entendre.

Ex girlfriend said I think I'm some super hero because I jump to the defense of others regardless of where and who so she gave me the name.It rounds off an approximate measurement and has something to do with endurance.........in the bedroom. Because I run for charities she thought few would catch on to the those implications. After we broke up, I used it online because she is an internet junky,to say "here 's what ya been missing".Now it doesn't matter but I have mailboxes and profiles with the name the11x7marathonman and the variation here: marathonman11x7 Too much trouble to delete and change now,so I'll keep them.

The origin...of...Wow it's been awhile. A meditation session I had years ago inspired this. The name sort of popped into my head and stuck. I use it just about everywhere and get called Soul more often than my real name.

This is my forum name everywhere I post. It's from 'Garlands' by Tori Amos.

Garlands is a song that uses frames or pictures from Marc Chagall to chrongraph the story of a lover and his lover.

He's on the run, He's on the run
From this walking greeting card
and Chloe's kiss,
The Wolf Pit,
The Wine Harvest, and Phileda's lesson
-we're not his possesion.
In Winter, trampled flowers in
Winter Lovers, Circus, these Garlands-
The blue Pirouette, The Marriage, The Mimosas,
Black Sun over Paris, these Garlands-
the little swallow, St. Paul from the Window-

its what my mother calls me...

of course it could have just as easily been "smalls" as I was known untill the great growth spurt of 1972...

or "peepers" which my mother alternates with nikky cause of the blues eyes (rest of my brothers have dark hair and eyes...might be the milkman's kid???)...

My name comes from the Duran Duran song of the same name. I like it because it's interesting and a conversation piece. It's also a bit mysterious which is me in a nutshell. Back in the 80's I was a Duranie and I guess I still am now. I dig their songs!
