It's a very general thing, I'd never use a sign totally. It can be a guide toward tendencies in behaviors, noone is 100% Gemini, Taurus or any other sign.  | |

The longest coldest relationship of my life has been with a man who has every. single. planet. in Virgo. Plus a Virgo ascendant (the father of my children). I've done *very* well with Scorpio and Cancer. But best of all with Taurus. And if I meet a guy who's creeping me out, I always ask, and it's always a Capricorn, who I'm *supposed* to fit very well with. . . . The rest of the signs have been pretty much absent in my romantic life.

In nearly every case your own (Sun) sign is not a good match for you, and neither is your opposite. While in some cases same & opposite signs have an attraction to each other, for a long term relationship you really need to stick to people in either your element or your complementary element.
In your case, Pisces is a water sign and so the best matches for you are the two other water signs and two of the three Earth signs, the third being your opposite (Virgo). So for a Pisces, the best matches are Cancer (water), Scorpio (water), Taurus (earth), and Capricorn (earth). You should avoice the Fire (Leo, Sagittarius, Aries) and Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) signs for the most part.
Now that is just looking at the sun signs, and of course there's a lot more to astrology than that. For example, as a person gets older they tend to take on more of the traits of their ascendant than their sun sign, which can influence personal interactions. | |

Libra, Aquarius and Virgo would each rate about 6/10 and Taurus is positively the worst.
It also depends on how close to the end or beginning you are, i.e the cusp and some other factors such as the time of day you were born.

I am absolutely certain that there is no statistical difference between those born the same day as myself compared to any other day of the year. To put stock in such a thing is utterly ridiculous. How could 8.3% of people be so close to your traits because of when they were born and the other 91.7% be definably distinct?
Let's have a little fun here and see if we can get 20 people to locate 5 each of their same birthday and tabulate all similarities, leaving out traits like breathe air, eat food, bathes, etc. and see how many traits are shared. It'd be good to have degrees of benevolent traits like sharing since a person may automatically want to put himself in a good light when in fact it is not true to limit erroneous results of the study. | |

Posted: 3/21/2008 12:42:30 PM | I've dated a lot of different signs, but my two most memorable one's were with fellow Pisces.. one is still a very good friend..we are 4 days apart in age and were even born at the same hospital.. the romance didn't work but we are like brother and sister now.. the other pisces was the most intense relationship I ever had.. definitely NOT brother and sister, extremely physical.. but a disaster. They were at different ends of the piscean scale though.. the latter was closer to Aries.
I get along with Taureans, Pisces, Libra, Scorpio, Capricorn and Gemini men the best...I am attracted to Aries but it never works because I am far too independant and Aries like to be the boss. (LOL) for female friends I find I gravitate to Gemini and Leo.
Now I am finding that my Venus in Aquarius is dominant, (friendship, uniqueness..etc...) and my Piscean romanticism is taking a backseat to it. Might be the age I am at.

But two of us together is... well... less than inspiring, lol.... great conversation and mental connection/mutual understanding... but consistently does not seem to go any farther than that...

I find I go through phases of attracting certain signs over and over again.. I read once that that happens so that you are able to balance your personality a bit more by integrating the traits that the other sign seems to emphasize... interesting concept. | |

Scorpios scare me. Men with moon and/or Mars in Taurus are just yummy!
I have yet to date a Sun sign Taurus. I'd like to! Leos are my descendant, but haven't cared for the ones I've dated.
