| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/10/2007 9:00:56 PM | I have always slept on the side farthest away from the door. I like to sleep on my tummy, with my hands folded under my pillow. I like to have my own space, don't care to be cuddled, because I get to hot. And the radio has to be on, I have listened to it since I was 7 years old, hard habit to break. | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/10/2007 9:43:23 PM | I am in the middle...they can have the couch
My only bad habit besides stealing all the covers is...I sleep with a pillow on my head.

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/10/2007 10:01:00 PM | I never take sides. Ideally, we’re both cuddled together in the middle. Oh, and remember, one good turn gets most of the blanket. | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 2:36:48 AM | It is not much the side of the bed in question as on which side I can only fall asleep. Having said that prior this final crush - yep, on my right side only - any side of the bed is fine for pillow talk, reading ... and still my 'gusto' for exploring "The Art of seduction" (what did they say on another thread: artists vs crayon users/tinkers? ) | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 3:08:29 AM | I have a huge California King size bed which I adore!
I sleep in the middle, and spread out to use up every inch of space (I'm getting my moneys worth out of it :-). Often I sleep on my back surrounded by pillows (awwwww like a little baby crib)...so cozy. ALWAYS have a fan on...even if it's freezing cold. I NEEEEEEED air circulation and that little humming sound.
In summer I jsut sleep on top of the bed with no sheet or blanket. I love summer. I love sleep!
mmmmmmmm I think it's time to go back to bed now................... yawn.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

| Your Side Of The Bed Is? Funny Ways You Sleep Are? Posted: 4/11/2007 3:52:49 AM | | Tdh46...that door thing is true. I've read something about it in the past. It fits me to a T as well because I've always chosen the side of the bed farthest from the door. Even in hotel rooms with two beds when I'm traveling alone, I choose the farthest bed and the farthest side. I've tried changing it, but don't sleep wel. lol | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 3:53:59 AM | I actually do not have a preference. I use either side, in fact I switch between the two regularly.
I wonder what that says about me.

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 4:31:51 AM | I don't have a "side of the bed" preference. Right now I'm sleeping on the left. When that starts feeling grungy I'll start sleeping on the right side. Then it's time to wash the sheets.
When my son's dog is visiting I start out on the side of the bed she isn't stretched out on. I might have to scoot one end or the other of her over a little. Then she scoots back up close to me. As the night wears on and I move or reposition myself a little, she fills the void. About half way through the night, I get up off the floor and move to the other side of the bed. Then, repeat.

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 6:12:18 AM | I sleep on the right hand side of the bed usually on my left side or my stomach.. My bf sleeps in the middle when he is here and then the dog on the left side. I too tend to keep my feet uncovered and have to have some kind of noise or I don't sleep well. We both are blanket hogs so tend to have 2 blankets on the bed so whoever steals the first one, the other one has one to grab. | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 8:19:14 AM | | give me the middle. If I am lucky enough to have a guest over, then I can roll off to either side and cuddle very effectively righty or lefty. ;) | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 8:20:05 AM | I sleep on the side closest to the bathroom... and like my own covers... if she snores, she will have to move to the couch.

He says I stay wraped up like a mummy when I sleep, nothing sticks out but my head a little. I like the warmth. I don't cuddle when I sleep unless its cold, then he says he has to peal me off him. The hotest night in summer I will still have a cover and the air on.

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 9:10:47 AM | Wow! Bedology 101. Excellent thread, OP! Wonderful comments, everyone! Okay, if you read my profile, then you’ll know that I’m really into bedding. Yes, the sheets must be ultra soft and wonderful to the touch... no matter what part of the body is doing the contact! As to comfort, I have a natural rubber latex mattress – no springs, no noise, more comfort. Pillows... many and also natural rubber latex... sometimes need many to gain comfort, sometimes a single does the trick. As to which side... well... lady’s choice. In regards to spooning, being ambidextrous, I’m happy to surrender either side... even the middle! One... well sorta... quirk... for some unexplained reason, I need to keep a foot outside the covers. Maybe this is how my body regulates temperature at night? Oh, did I mention “comfort”?!? | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 9:24:06 AM | | I always have to be on the side closest to the door. I will not budge on this, and it's just habit from needing to be closest to my children sleeping down the hall. | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 9:30:57 AM | Right hand side of the bed and there is noone in mine to argue the toss with me lol.
I get all the covers I need and have my fan should it be hot (not that it gets hot in my bed you see!).

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 9:31:13 AM | I have a queen size bed littered with pillows. 4 body pillows (I don't cuddle with them all mind you!), and 4 regular pillows... one that I put between my legs. Comes from post surgery when I wasn't allowed to lay on my side so I had to be 'tucked in' on my back to prevent myself from turning over... was just too darn comfy so never got rid of all those body pillows! I'll go to bed on the right side, laying on my right side but JUST before falling completely asleep I'll turn over to my left side and drift off to dreamland.
My comforter is usually tucked up under my feet and all around me. In the summer I don't sleep as well because it's too hot for a comforter and for some reason the weight of it and the tucked in feeling helps me sleep better. They need to invent a summer comforter that has the weight but cools your body down! I'd love to replace a few of those body pillows for a guy to snuggle up with though. The left side of my bed is pretty much unused lol...having a queen size bed and being a tucked in kind of sleeper is kind of a waste... but hey ~ at least there's room for someone else! heehee As far as blankets go when I'm sharing my bed with someone else, we have our own blankets. Just works better that way!

(when I sleep) and a glass of diet pepsi next to my bed; it's complicated lol HowDidIGetHere? I have to sleep with a foot out too.... too funny. Gotta be a body temp thing.

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 3:21:25 PM | i personally like to sleep on the left side because when i did have a sinificant other i prefered to hold him at night because i put my arm around him and my leg across him now that i am alone i have to sleep with pillows to hold and to put between my knees no blanket unless i am freezing no socks and no pants just a t shirt and underwear. I have a tendancy to snoore to but when that woderful time comes that i have someone to share my bed with i do not care which side as long as we are together | |
|
| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 3:29:47 PM | | For me, I am not fussy which side I sleep. I spent a few years on the couch - they only have one way to sleep on them. Now, just as long as i'm snuggled up to the one i'm with, I couldn't complain. | |
|
| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 3:33:56 PM | There is no left or right side to my bed....imagine that.
Now, I sleep facing either left or right, or straight up...or straight down.
When I shared a bed(not my current bed)with someone, I almost always woke up with it looking as if I were trying to crawl out of the bed.....

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 5:08:15 PM | | I sleep in the middle, it is my bed, and I also love the window open a crack, all yr long. If I have a guest.....I'd still be in the middle, lol, but I'd sleep on the side closest to the window...no particular side. | |
