| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/11/2007 5:14:25 PM | I sleep right in the middle or to the right. I love having the whole bed all to myself!! Any overnight guests have to sleep on the floor and they have to bring their own pillow and blanket! | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/12/2007 4:06:59 AM | If I sleep alone: Start on the right, then roll to the left, wake up in the morning at middle as upside down
If I sleep with someone, I could stay on any side as long as it's convenient for him or for us to take some thing at midnight or early morning , wake up in the morning with my legs around his neck
P/S: I don't like to sleep alone - as now - single for years

Why is that? Temperature Adjustment? That is eggsactly what it is. I call that the radiator. As far as the bed goes, I used to have a side, I gave it up all for her. I am a cover rollover hog. I take the blankie and do the twist leaving my partner with narry a cover. Bad Wolf.

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/13/2007 6:36:17 AM | Well, after I move the dog, my side is the left one. Won't change that for anyone. I do not tuck the blankets or sheets in at the bottom of the bed (I'm a sucker for high-thread count sheets and quilts). And in the morning, they're all wadded up in the middle. I sleep on my side or my stomach and have about 10 pillows on the bed. And yes, I do use all 10. | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/13/2007 8:05:24 AM | I sleep in the middle of the bed , rolling from one side to the other throughout the night , but I'm single
In the past and in my future relationships , if sharing the bed , my preference would be to be on the right side . I also have a huge body pillow I sleep with , its very comforting . My last partner had a bit of a problem with it during "sleeping periods" , but also found it made a great prop for adding height to certain positions , which gave added pleasure to both of us
I also like to use the body pillow propped between my knees for relief off occasional back pain . The bedroom door has to be open a crack so I can see just a little bit of the bathroom light on . There must be dead silence , no tv on downstairs and no ceiling fan left on in the room below (drives me nuts and I cant sleep) . In the summer I have a very hard time adjusting to using a fan as the noise is too much , thank god for central air in this house . Summer or winter I like to have the blanket or sheet tucked neatly around my head so only my face is showing .
And this might sound weird , but my current bed position is fitted in between the closet walls (I ripped out my closet doors ) so each side of the bed has about 2/3 of the length sided by a wall . This means to get in or out of bed means you have to crawl to the foot of the bed . Might sound odd but with being alone it makes me feel more secure .

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/13/2007 9:56:02 AM | I sleep on the left in a king size bed with 500+ thread count sheets (so soft and comfy) with 5 king size pillows. One under my head, one on each side of me, one on the other side, and an extra in case one gets lost. I love to cuddle up with them. Now when I'm not alone, it's whatever side he's not on and definately cuddled up to him with a pillow on my other side. Is it time to go back to bed yet??!! | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/14/2007 1:29:29 AM | My current girlfriend not too long ago pointed out that for some reason I subconciously will chose the side closest to the door in a bed when she is there but if she comes in and I am already asleep I will sleep literally anywhere, sometimes not even making it to the bed . I have no idea why, she has suggested that since she has had past problems with intruders she feels safer because I do this and am always closer and therefore able to react more quickly should anything like that happen. Maybe she is right, either way we both sleep great like that unless I take up too much space then I get the "icicle feet". | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/14/2007 1:44:29 AM | | i sleep all different sorts of ways. ideally i would be spooned or be spooning. for now i sometimes wrap my arms around me and stroke my skin, or hug a pillow, on my stomach spread eagle, on either side, on my back, curled up like a wee donut. i like to cover my head if my hair is wet and i like to cover my eyes so it is super dark. sometimes i like only my nose peeking out so i can breathe. i move around in the night and if i get too hot and sweat then i move over to the dry side and flip my pillow and continue on sleeping and dreaming. mmm i love being in bed, it is just getting there i sometimes have a hard time with. it is 430 am i guess i will hop off to my sleep now. sometimes i have a hard time getting out of my bed and like to stay there for like 10 hours, sleeping and stretching, feeling relaxed and happy, or stressing about something and kind of hiding and praying for help. i turn the phone off so no one will wake me. even my dog let's me sleep long. god bless her compassionate ways. i think she taught me the art of sleeping she is so good at it, :,: | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/14/2007 3:49:46 AM | I was thinking about posting something similar...
I'm having a problem...I bought a new bed last spring and I am the only one who has ever slept in it (besides the cat). Now, I have a groove starting in the middle of the bed! I hate that! Then, if the stars are aligned just right and I actually meet someone, when we are both in the bed, we'll be rolling into the middle...what do I do?
I am a wild sleeper, anyway, to answer the question...I have ended up with my head at the foot of the bed and my feet on my pillows, I usually end up with blankets all twisted around my legs, I have woken up with my face down and my ass up in the air, with my legs pulled up under me...yeah, I know, this is making the men want to help me out with my groove problem!

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/14/2007 7:00:51 AM | I sleep on the right side of the bed, on my left side, kinna in a fetal position LMAO we are all so freaken anal!!!! Not totally on my side, and not totally on my stomach, kinna in between. I have one cat in the bend of my legs and the other at my side.

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/14/2007 8:01:05 AM | I sleep on the right side of the bed, and there's no negotiations on that either! My fan is always on at the end of my bed, and I enjoy my sleep on my tummy with 10 pillows. | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/14/2007 9:30:14 AM | Actually my cat tries to tell me where to sleep.
For such a little animal, that cat can sure can claim a lot of real estate.

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/15/2007 3:13:10 PM | Squabble is such a mild term for it How about Bed Wars part 60000076787? When it comes to sleeping positions I can sleep on my sides, back, or stomach; I am pretty easy going.. with my ex she hogged the bed with her diagonal sprawl technique! For a couple of weeks the middle of the night 'discussions' about why the hell she was waking me up with her foot became interesting. One time it got so ridiculous that we had a 3 hour 'discussion' about what constituted a half of a bed. Because her body temperature was about 10 degrees hotter than mine of course I could not sleep near her and she straddled the middle of the bed with her body.. We actually resorted to getting out measuring tapes and almost marked chalk marks as well I was considering using mouse traps! | |

| Move Over! This Is My Side Of The Bed! Posted: 4/15/2007 4:05:34 PM | I only have a twin size bed right now for just me so I kinda sleep in the middle. I prefer sleeping on my side (either side) with legs slightly bent and I have to sleep with a teddy bear now. I used to sleep with my cat and she'd be my 'teddy' but when she died I didn't have a cuddle kitty, since my new cat and my other old cat aren't cuddlers. I usually have to spend some time lying on my back and lying on my stomach before I can fall asleep unless I take something to help me sleep or I'm super tired. I also have to have lots of pillows and blankets when I sleep. I sleep better with the weight and warmth of the blankets. I prefer having some light music playing in the background, although I can sleep fairly well without it.
One thing I've noticed about sleeping alone vs. sleeping with someone else (even if it's someone in the same room as me, separate bed) is when I sleep alone I stay asleep for most of the night, but I move around a lot. If I sleep in the same bed as someone I don't move at all and if someone is in the same room as me I wake up a lot (about every hour or so). I also found that I fall asleep a lot faster if I share a bed with someone and they spoon with me.
