| Do people not realize there are REAL people behind the keyboards?

Such as men pretending to be women or women pretending to be men. So who are you talking to really. A real friend is a friend who will be there for you in person and give you that hug when you need it. You can't feel areal hug with an on line person. I consider these people more of a discussion group. | |

Posted: 4/25/2005 5:16:08 AM | Kristine, I'm not sure which ones are "For Real" or not. I promise you I am real, hook line and sinker.
I have known people who are just as rude and wicked as those you (and I) have dealt with and I know their issues with themselves are in worse shape than my own, or yours.
They "Put You Down" because there is something about themselves that they hate. Saying a compliment is the farthest thing from their minds. I see it literally every day.
One gal I know was asked by her employers to get professional help for her actions / reactions. She makes gross judgements about others in the negative to upscale herself. I have seen her throw fits because she can't have her way or win.
Don't Argue with them - their emotions cannot afford to lose. Pity them.
Anger and Put Downs are bad behavior and what do we do when children display bad behavior? "Go To Your Room, No Toys, No Computer!"
But even as we type.... There are those that cannot read these lines and know the words are meant for them. Rise Above. Turn the other cheek. Do not lower yourself to their level.

I'm, up at 6 work all day ... come home cook supper clean up my kitchen ..... do landry,.
GET READY FOR THE NEXT DAY ,,,CAUSE THAT;S WHAT puts food on my table.
Is there any one out there that is at at the level ...that I am at .... that just wants a friend...... no games........ no BS,.. just a true friend.........Hello.......... anyone out there,,,,,,,,,,'I am 46......... any one in that age group.......... | |
