| New feature in the 'viewed me' box Posted: 4/16/2007 8:32:04 AM | Why would some of their pics influence you whether or not you read their profile? It's sometimes difficult to see on some photo's the age group the person is in... also a person's image in general is quite a good indication of the type of person they are.
MartinWest ^^^^ is a typical example for me where the next pic option is brilliant.... I'm alergic to nicotine!.... not to mention I am old enough to be his granny!!!!
this may be slightly off topic but I find the same is true when I'm looking for clothes or shoes to buy...... 'scanning' what's on offer (and I honestly hope this does not sound 'narrow minded') but in general I find something 'kicks in' when I feel 'connected' I'm sure that must be the same for everyone. And of course there are always exeptions to the rule.

| New feature in the 'viewed me' box Posted: 4/16/2007 8:55:52 AM | | Ticket, I know that when you load a page in firefox it sometimes goes out and "prefetches" all links on the screen. Ie if you do a search it may load every profile that comes up in the background. But the next link goes to a hidden URL that contains only a image and fetches it. It doesn't grab the images from the profile pages. So if it is doing a prefetch in the background that is just wierd. | |

Firefox 1.5.0.11 was the last version for W9x, possibly somewhat buggy.
Might answer for some future Problems some Posters may be having with this new Feature.

| New feature in the 'viewed me' box Posted: 4/17/2007 6:32:36 PM | How surprising to find it go
...I was really enjoying it
I liked it
How sad, It's such a pity to loose something so popular :o(
But surly it's a mistake... the green 'click on next button to see more pictures' is still in place.

| New feature in the 'viewed me' box Posted: 4/18/2007 2:14:46 PM | wow, admin has sure been busy lately! First the winks come out, I finally found a thread telling me what they are and how to use them, and poof - they are gone. Now the pictures on the "viewed me" - I thought it was a great idea - I am afraid that some men think I am a stalker, cause I keep checking their profile when I don't recognize the photo - doesn't help when the photo's change every few days. Also, I wonder if there is a way to have the name as well as the picture - I often remember a name, especially if it is catchy and this would perhaps save me from clicking on the same person more than once, otherwise hopefully those I have checked will realize that I am just a little confused and not some sort of weirdo by checking on them more than once (or twice ooops)
I do hope that this new feature will be back up and running soon.

| New feature in the 'viewed me' box Posted: 4/19/2007 5:32:11 AM | ^^^ I'm not sure what it reduced the effectiveness of the site means.
I just noticed that when I put my curser over the pictures under the main picture in the profile, a larger version came onto my screen. Wow!!! like that!!!!
I just wondered if it would have worked like that in the 'viewed me' section. Now that would have been amazing!!!!!

Me too....but I did notice something else that I'm not so keen about. In the search results you have placed a link to send that person a message. Don't you think that there are going to be many more people that will be sending messages out without reading any profiles?.....Oh boy!....I could see the new threads on he/she didn't read my profile before he/she sent me a message coming soon.
JMO...
