At my age is is more of a warning flag when my partner has not had many partners, unless they have been in some long serious relationships. | |

I think the fact that someone asks a question like that is a red flag unless they are your physician! There's no way you can really look forward with someone if you're stuck on the fact that they did (or didn't) have as many partners as you did -- a sign of a 'confidence issue', if you ask me. | |

No way would I discuss that with anyone and the only time I would want to know that about a potential partner is if he was a virgin. It wouldn't make a difference in my opinion of him, I'd just like to know ahead of time how much teaching I'll be doing.... 
I keep track. And I am very proud of my number.
I don't keep track and my "number" has no bearing on whether I am proud of myself or not. It has nothing to do with it. | |

I can see why you'd rather not be considered whorish.
However, you're off to a good start with your fiance by lying to him. What if down the road he finds out different?
If you can't tell him the truth about yourself, why the hell are you marrying him?
It does happen. One of my friends was engaged to a woman who didn't want him to know about her past. Her bad luck was that I was a part of that past. So were a few of my other friends... It all came out in a very bad way at a large party he took her to.
So much for their relationship.
I've run into my girlfirend's different ex lovers a few times. some I knoew before she did. At least in her case, she didn't lie to me. | |
