Could I someone let me know of any meets in New Hampshire after January as I am coming over to Keene University on a university swap for 9 months. Won't know anyone and I thought I could perhaps attend any of the meets that are going on.

Posted: 7/22/2007 6:40:05 AM | Im up for something and also willing to travel a bit. Im northern MA / southern NH so either way is good for me. Keep in mind that we can do something smaller too locally just to get a couple groups formed and then plan a large get together of those groups.

Posted: 7/25/2007 5:33:31 AM | I've always wondered about doing this type of thing at an eating establishment? Seems like a place like Canobie Lake or any activity type spot would be more fun and less stressful.
Also, I'm guessing that a location close to the I-95 corridor would be more convenient for most folks to attend.

Posted: 7/25/2007 8:33:23 PM | Well, a couple of things. I think we need to generate interest in this. I don't think all that many people actually go into the forums, or go in very often to find this thread. What does everybody think about putting a line or two into the beginning of our profiles asking people to put their two cents in if they are interested. A little advertising never hurt! I have talked to some people in other places and they have things like this once a month and they work out great, according to them. (Ottawa, Orlando, and New York, anyway).
I have no problem going anywhere, but I am at a loss in terms of decent locations in the area we would probably be talking about, i.e. between Boston and NH or in NH. So, put those ideas out there, peeps!
We have to come to a concensus on where to meet and we should probably put a time frame on it or we may be talking about it next year! This thread started in February!
There is always labor Day weekend! What do you all think? | |

Posted: 7/29/2007 12:19:26 PM | I have a suggestion for a location. There is a club called "Vincent's" in Randolph, MA. It is very close to Route 128. It is a large venue which does not get busy until 10PM. I am not sure when the doors open, but the cover is only $5 before 10PM. POF people could arrive early, meet and mingle before things get crazy, leave early or stay late. BRING EARPLUGS!
