Posted: 4/19/2007 4:13:48 AM | Greetings everyone. Macgyver_Teacher here and thank you Piper for requesting that I help host this event. Some of you Owen Sounder folks might recall seeing me at the Exodus all those many years ago. You can count on this event in finding a wide variety of people and tastes. I hope that like at the Exodus, all who come will feel welcome and at some time during the night, hear music that they like and have at least a dance or two and some drinks and conversation. Remember it takes you to make this an event.
And yes, I have danced with the broken footed to the light footed.
So come on outand meet some classy, sassy, tame, mature, and the occasional wild person. Remember to say yes if asked for a dance, and if you see someone all alone, ask them to dance. Trust me, it won't hurt you and just might make their day.

Posted: 4/20/2007 5:14:02 PM | These POF meetings are AWESOME, come here, have some fun, Drink some beer, or whatever you Prefer. talk to new people, talk to some old friends, or even make a few new friends. Just come have a good ol' time and Forget about the Stress of life. and leave it behind for a few hours. Kick back,, dance, sing shout, whtever your beating heart desires.
We even ONCE had some ladies dancing out back on the pole, (well it was a light post) That was a good night for us. haha. (That was over a year ago, But still very fresh in my mind , ha ha, sorry for bring that up again....)
You'll have a good time when ya come out, You'll have a GREAT TIME, and If ya dont come out you'll Regret it, So no regrets, Come on out and have a good time with the gang.
You May just find that special some one that SPARKS YOUR HEART

At almost 5 years old Shane was diagnosed with ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA .After 1 month into the treatment he was in early remission, meaning there were no cancer cells in his blood. Shane's family was very pleased with the early results, but his protocol called for 130 weeks of treatment. Then on July 6th, 2006 Shane relapsed after completing 108 of the 130 weeks. It was a shock to everyone including his doctors. Shane may have to undergo a bone marrow transplant down the road, but the good thing is that his brother Jacob is a match. Presently, there is no sign of cancer in Shane's system since relapsing.
Shane is 7 years old now and will be 8 on May 30th, 2007.
Shane has been battling cancer since the age of 5.
It is his wish to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records as 'receiving the most birthday cards ever.'
What a simple dream from an 8 year old boy.
