Keep this in mind next time, I'm not critisising anyone, Just remember next time, We all want to have a goodtime. I heard the same thing 2 yrs ago about another pof event at 55. | |

What would you suggest we do differntly? IN-PUT is always great.
You were upset, cause the woman ignored you, and that when you asked them to dance they assumed you were looking for something else.
you can speak your mind here, we all will listen to you, and add IN PUT for you, In a Positive way. But like Babygirl said, There are LOTS of other POF venues In the simcoe County area, Theres One coming up In midland @ sha Na na. July 21.
another in Orillia. Mcabes Highway man inn Sept 15th.

The old statement comes to my mind(put up or shut up) which i do directed back to my self. Maybe like a getoegther at springwater park a day of sports or maybe a golf tourney, poker run with pof members rasing funds for charities. I guess i am more peeved at me then anything esle.
Bars are not my thing, never have been for many years. I just forgot why i do not go to them unless i want to eat. Your work does not go unseen, you did a awesome job pulling the event off
Just so you know, The ONLY reason yuor last message was deleted, was cause you added your msn address. (I did add you to my list) But consider deleting your message a favor, caus ethe moderator would of banned you off the threads for that. I know you didnt know, But I beat them to the punch line. so its all good LOL!!

I know it is true.....the bar scene is not for everyone....but you can not blame the host or hostess of the partys for where they choose to host....If you would have a great idea for a gathering .......put your money where your mouth is....If you need help, or looking to cohost.....just ask....One of the wonderful things is if you would seriously like to host an outing..on POF....YOU CAN....anywhere, anytime...Big Fish likes new hosts....and has very clearly defined rules as to what and what not can be done....it is important to read those rules before POSTING A NEW EVENT.....as there is no tolerance for breaking them.....lol
I myself have hosted a few parties...or should I call them gatherings....and although most of them were not in a bar.....I heard the same comments about the music not loud enough, or not enough action.......different strokes for different folks.....thank god we are all unique.......lol.......for the majority...I have been known to say this many times....it is your dime.....so dammit get out there and have a great time.....go with no expectations.....and surely you will leave with many great memories.....and new friends.....Experience has shown....that if your going to meet THE ONE...you have great expectations.....and if he or she is not there.....dammmmm I guess your evening sucked...lol....
For those that might not be aware....these hosts and hostess do these events for FREE.....and do everything in the rules to ensure that they are brought to you with good taste.....and low cost....all for US.......with lil rewards for themselves.....other than trying to please most of the people.........So if you hear the occassionaly negative remark......and have never gone to an event.....Go.......and explore for yourself....each event is different.....and the peeps are always changing.....but go with a great attitude...and no expectations.....be willing to chat it up with peeps.......smile pretty.....dance lots.......and laugh always.......

come on out to an event, or if you don't like the subject, have your own, it does not have to be in a bar, it does not even have to be a dance, it can be a night of euchre, poker, bingo, bowling, a night at the race track-cars or horses, the imagination knows no limits.

I had a wonderful time at 55 Special,..although that one bouncer who kept kicking me and my dancing friend (Bonnie)of the stage was NOT NICE!!!!!!

Free Go Go Dancers are hard to come by you know!!!!!
The venue was amazing and thank god for that huge patio as it got rather busy inside and HOT too!,...The waitresses did a wonderful job but for all us patio dwellers I would suggest that the establishment get another outside bar going and SOON!!!
I actually mentioned this to the manager,..so be on the look as it is apparently coming your way ....lol
Overall Pipe you and your crew know how to Party!!!!!
I did not arrive till after 11 and had wished to come earlier to meet and mingle more before it got so busy but due to unforeseen circumstances it did not happen....but will make sure it does at the next party!
I will be up the Barrie was again in the early part of August and will be parting at 55 Special for sure. | |
