As for match fixers.Forgetting Liverpool with Grobbolar?
Westham and the bungs?Glass houses.
Excuse me?!?!?! Grobbelaar "Aledgedly" chucked games,unlike Milan who paid in order to "Win" games.Yet Liverpool were still good enough to DOMINATE the English game.So that nullfies that argument.
As for Kaka being the best player,did you actually watch the game? Pennant as well as Mascherano were easily the best players on the night,Kaka like most "Overhyped" players only look good when given time and space which he was not and quite frankly did not look like the "Best player in the world" that some claim him to be.
Personally I think Milan were very lucky and looked as if they "Had a word" with the ref again as he did not play the amount of time he should have done and the first goal was clearly handball.

Posted: 5/26/2007 8:15:09 AM | No he would not walk into the Liverpool team as we have the most COMPLETE midfielder in world football in Stevie G and players that can play the holding role (Mascherano,Sissoko etc).
So whilst he is a great player,we don't need him.However the likes of Chelsea,Man U and Arsenal who has some right dross in midfield COULD do with Kaka.
I know such things may be hard for you to understand....... Would you also like me to explain the offside rule for you?

Infringements/Sanctions
For any offside offence, the referee awards an indirect free kick to the opposing team to be taken from the place where the infringement occurred.

i seem to remember inzahgi in the 2nd half being ruled offside when he was clearly on.
he was clean through on goal and game over for Liverpool. | |

that is what makes football so great, for it keeps the real and human element.
Liverpool played better having more chances to score, but Milan scored their few chances, that is typical from Italians | |

Posted: 5/26/2007 2:00:35 PM | You usually see human mistake about 10 times a week in the Premiership especially if Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool are playing, my guess is these things even themselves out over the season (or thats what Alan Hansen & the rest of them so called pundits would have us all believe) Liverpool weren't conned there was no injustice.

Ac Milan did.
And as for the match fixing.
Nothing could be proved, Which is why they were allowed to compete in the Champions league.
And i say again,

In the first half.
But you cant do that for the whole game.
In the second half AC Milan came into the game, mascherano came off and Kaka started playing his game and getting space, so did Pirlo

Posted: 5/27/2007 6:16:12 PM | i would just like to say congratulations to AC Milan in winning the Champions League...although they should of never been in the competition...but hey you won it even though the club i love and have loved since i was 5 completley outplayed you in the first half and played you not just off the park but out of the stadium..I keep telling myself its Karma you see 05 we were 3-0 down an won it having not played well in the first half we didnt even turn up until the second half...
in 07 we played the best football ive ever seen the team play yet the pure fact we cant finish and dont have a WORLD CLASS striker and you had two clear chances and took them to beat us..thats football... i was gutted we lost but i take alot of pride in the fact we got to the final twice in three years.and Liverpool are still the BEST ENGLISH club in Europe | |
