Single (never married at all) men over 45

As a NBM guy, let me speak a word .... I've had my share of LTR and at least I never jumped into anything and said damm that was a bad mistake. I didn't go through the whole big wedding thing, because that was what everyone else was doing at the time.
I'd rathe be a NBM then divorced twice with three kids. I've proposed been accepted, and then ended. Iv'e been proposed too, and not accepted, and been in a LTR where one wanted to and the other didn't , then one did and the other didn't. As I got older most women available had young kids, and I could never see myself raising someone elses kids, when I was still capable of having my own. Now I'm to the age where most women's kids are full grown, and they are available again. When they say why didn't you get married, I say why didn't yours last!? or just as often why didnt your mutilple ones last? Do I hope to get married one day sure I do. Will I go in with open eyes and a willing heart sure I will. Do I ask for something more a higher level.. yes sure I do and when we find it, I hope to get married.

As I have looked over personal ads for dating/friends/ whatever, I have seen many that have "single" in their profile. I have always wondered why women and men that get to this age have never married at least once. (I waited until I was 31 to marry hoping to be mature and find the right man.)

I find many men that put single down but get a feeling it may be different.

Why do people remain single at all? Tuka

I would love to have been married, however being disabled has held me back. Sounds like an excuse, but unfortunately, it is the truth.
