And what persona would that be?

Yours, at the momment.

Do you really believe that we instaneously wanna jump you guys right off the bat, and are hiding it?

Aaaaa, yep!

That we're really (since the OP hints that this is about an initial meeting/first date) all about the action, so much so that even tho the OP clearly states "she's honest and sincere", while the guy "puts on an elaborate act", that she's NOT so honest and sincere and really wants to check out his package...and does so, secretly?

The average post:
Have my own career
Have my own house
Need no father for my children, etc... would you like a calculator? It equals sex. What part of the math do you not exactly get when you eliminate every other use for us?

(And really, how many women go around looking at men's diks, as though they can tell anything about his size when he isn't erect?!)

Three words... "Chip and Dales."

Cause, after all, she's hiding behind the persona of really wanting to date the fella and pursue a relationship with him, when all the while, she just wants to do him but doesn't wanna appear easy? You're really accusing us of that?

Yep! there's a reason why women post:
"Not looking for intimate encounter" or "One night stands."
Reason: They've had plenty. Looking for a one night stand guys? Write one who claims she doesn't want one, then see if she doesn't tell her friends that you're too "clingy" the instant you express any interest past sex.

You really think we're being less than honest about loving sex and are just making out like lil "nice girls" so we can be naughty with our heads held high?

Cosmo seems to think so; catch this month's addition?

What's so honorable about allowing him to wine and dine us for a night or two, and then sharing Miss Kitty with him?

Lol; you tell me?

If this is what you think...explain FB relationships. Explain women like me that absolutely adore sex and make no bones about it and don't dik around waiting for his elaborate "act" to be played out, that have sex cause we wanna have sex and for no other reason; least of all to control a freakin man or earn some something from him. Wanting sex does not mean we don't want more and not all of us need to be validated through the "proper dating" protocol of "when is it proper to finally have sex?" I don't need my "nice girl" stamp of approval/validation from some stranger or society.

Are you digging your grave at this point, or did I miss somthing?

I completely understand what indi was saying, and yep, there are times when we do exactly what indi said....but it isn't under the guise of "I love sex but can't admit it and don't wanna appear easy---goshies, I've never done this before!"

For myself, it's a bit later in the game, once his pants have been removed and his dik his hard and I can actually see it. It's when we both know "this thing is ON!" :)
Having sex early on does not mean we don't want more than just a night of O's and not all women (or "most", as you put it) allow the act to be played on them just so they can be considered "worthy of more". That's crap, crap, crap! We already know the answer to that.

lol, that reminds me; most also think it's all about them. No surprise that eight out of ten divorces are filed for by women, and that the divorce rate is seventy percent. You can take some credit there, too.

I totally get it, what's not to get? I wear jeans and rock tshirts on most dates. And if I think the guy is hot, funny and perfect... damn right he'll see me naked! What's the problem?

OP...
Definately guys are often more interested in physical stuff without the emotional thing very soon (sometimes within seconds lol) , we are hard wired that way....but , I certainly believe that it can get a whole lot deeper along the way.

Oh, I see now. A lil too much of the whacky weed?!

The average post:
Have my own career

Need no father for my children, etc... would you like a calculator? It equals sex. What part of the math do you not exactly get when you eliminate every other use for us?

Nope, no calculator needed. It's called love. It's called wanting to be with someone cause you dig them, not because of what they can do for you.

Yep! there's a reason why women post:
"Not looking for intimate encounter" or "One night stands."
Reason: They've had plenty. Looking for a one night stand guys? Write one who claims she doesn't want one, then see if she doesn't tell her friends that you're too "clingy" the instant you express any interest past sex.

Oh, goodness! You're basing this judgement on emails??? OKOK, you've totally blown me away now!

Cosmo seems to think so; catch this month's addition?

OK, I'm sorry...since you're basing all this on what emails and Cosmo tells you, I'm gonna have to drop out now. I actually thought I was speaking with a grown man that did his own thinking and got out there and lived a little.

Oh wait---one more thing. For that, you can kindly piss off.

She dresses carefully to attract his attention, and he wonders what she looks like without clothes. She wants to look deep into his eyes, but he's looking down at her chest. She imagines dinner with candles, and he imagines them writhing in bed. She is ruled by her heart, and he is ruled by the vision of two legs spread wide apart. She is honest and sincere, and he puts on an elaborate act. In the end--if he plays his part well--he gets what he's after. And she...well...she hopes this time it will be different. What is it that women don't seem to get? Or are they, too, just playing a part?

Nah. After dinner she loses this idiot, goes home, washes the "ick" off herself, calls her girlfriends. The next night she goes out with an adult male who doesn't think he's a still-alive Barbara Cartland.

Wacky weed? Grown man? Isn't it exactly like the average woman to come back with entirely, baseless rhetoric. I actually don’t believe you even understood or addressed half of anything said, much less on any level that made any sense; however, it is the usual response, whenever one of you can’t fess up to any degree of reality, past an emotional outburst, when somebody holds up a mirror. Guess the op was right in one sense; you‘re driven by emotion, and damned if it doesn‘t, too often get in the way of all that happily ever after crap that so many of you file one divorce after another in search of; as if Cinderella’s was any more real than your perceptions of it.

Oh, and by the way. I’m just crushed that you removed your self from my favorites list. Was it an emotional response? Guess it just goes to show how quick and easy you all vanish when everything isn’t honkey dorry. Now you know why I never use that feature, regardless of whoever else may; like a marriage, it’ s mere sentiment with people like you, and I’m not so quick to be suckered by it. After all, I'm just looking for one favorite; however, you all usually have more than one would consider, well, proper... ironic.

Get a clue, wwwwwhatever...you supported your judgements based on "emails and Cosmo magazine" and then you took a post about men and women (that was spoken in general) and made it personal about me. You don't play fair, you don't come equipped with anything substantial/realistic to support your judgements and you don't even know me. There was absolutely nothing else for me to respond to.
Interestingly, you took personal stabs at me and my (perceived by you) flaws as a woman, yet, I'm in a long term relationship and you're not. Whatever!:)

Rest assured OP, way back when we were in high school most of us women learned that men will stoop to decidedly low tactics (including deception) to get laid. But I hope you were not attempting to speak for all women when you stated, in essence, that their hope for love is an exercise in futility since all men really want is sex. And I hope you weren’t trying to speak for all men when you stated, in essence, that when you’re out on a date with a woman all you really see is cleavage and a whooping great vagina! Even an idiot knows that romantic love between adults typically starts out as physical attraction and I think it’s naive of you to assume that men aren’t capable of moving beyond that to develop true and deep feelings and regard for a woman. Really, since you’ve inflated the vagina to the level of a god -- you say it rules you -- you strike me as a man who is high on prose but low on insight and intelligence. And, also, since you apparently think you need to play a game to get some, low on integrity!!

I think the question is what is it men don't seem to get? Why does a man think sexual thoughts about women and what is it they can get in the bedroom hotel or wherever. We are erotic creatures of the wild and "some" men will prey on that. Our inner beings are always wanting acceptance and love so "some" men will absorb that into themselves and "pretend" to get what they want. Why would one use another individuals body and soul to acheive personal satisfactin isn't that a bit selfish? And some women will fall for that unfortunately. I am me respect me do not look at me like a piece of meat. Use the brain god gave you and interpret what is it you need and not what you want. I want love compassion careing and understanding. Sex to me is nothing.Intimacy and sharing who I am from the inside is what makes me. I complete me no one else. I hope someday you understand who you are for now your living false pretense. Good luck to you.

Do you have ANY idea what kind of response a woman gets if she doesn't have that option checked off? Even if a woman is open minded sexually and might want to play around on the first date that doesn't mean she is looking to have random sex with every leering horny mostly married internet man (usually with no picture). We have other website options if we're looking for that. And there are pictures.

Yup we think about sex alot. So what's new about that!?!?!?
The real question is can you control your reactions to said thoughts? Some of us can, and most of us can't. You see that's what seperates us males of the humans species from the animal kingdom. We have higher brain functions to control those urges to be morons. Some however don't want to make that choice, and carry on acting on their urges without thought or care of how it affects their GF/SO, or date for the evening.

No surprise that eight out of ten divorces are filed for by women, and that the divorce rate is seventy percent.

So I'm getting the impression that by citing this statistic, you are saying that it is the womans fault?
Maybe, just maybe, could it be that 50% of those eight out of ten divorces filed by the woman was because it had something to do with the male fvcking up? Some folks just can't handle being accountable for their actions. They'd rather blame someone else.

Guess what. There is more to life than sex.Yes sex is great but men who have a need to talk about it all the time probably have a low performance level and find talking much safer than doing.

It's Pandora's box all over again we are programmed with hope in our hearts. If we were as cynical as the Op no man would be getting any. Instead of turning on the charm we'd be turning on the Gatling. And we wonder why we have so many threads on being played he's the perfect example why. Spread legs my **s.

Be very careful if you make woman cry because GOD counts her tears. I liked that one.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to convey in this post... but if I were to guess I would say something along the lines of woman and men being different creatures. If that's the case, I vehemently disagree with you. Not every guy "is ruled by the vision of two legs spread wide apart," just the same as not every girl is ruled by romance. In my opinion, you cannot make such a sweeping generalization like this; maybe the majority of men and woman possibly fall into these categories, but I've seen this to be untrue.

On a lighter note, women are just as much sexual beasts as men are... they, more often than not, express it in a more graceful, subtle way :)

Hmm... no offense, but it seems to me like you've had some less than stellar experiences with women. I somewhat agree with the fact that women let themselves be more influenced by emotion (on average, in my experience), but it's not always as drastic and hasty as you described. And I can't blame them because I'm very passionate too. This is just another sweeping generalization. A self-fulfilling prophecy is the result of such statments; if you've made yourself to believe all or most woman or a certain way and all or most men are a certain way, than you're going to automatically look for these traits and characteristics when interacting with the person in question. I don't think that's a fair way of going about meeting new people, either to them nor yourself. Also, it falls on the invidividual him/herself to be able to identify people that they will be able to get along with.

I can definitely see you are a writer from how you wrote this post. I think that you must have seen you were going to get "bashed," as they say, on this one. Good looking man writing something like that...

I think from what you said most women would say that their assumptions are true as to the "good looking man" and the average woman--what they are looking for when they take that woman out. In some cases I know that what you said is true, been there done that. You meet someone, wonder why they are asking you out because your self confidence has taken a beating in the past. But you like what the person has told you, and believe them to be sincere and genuine.

Do I believe that is what most men think when they take someone out? Yes! I'm not naive. But I also think that there is more to it than that. If the man is genuine and sincere and wants to know more about the woman, then those things are on his mind as well. Do women think the way you described them? Yes, I think they do. On the other hand, I think most women would be lying if they didn't also think in much the same way men do...well not quite the way you described it, unless they like women :) But you know what I mean...

What a thoughtful reply! You can believe me when I say that that's what has always caught my eye...far more than cleavage (or well-spread legs) could ever do. Which is not to say that I don't enjoy sex (an understatement), but only and always within the context of a broader, more 'heart-felt' connection. Looks, age and other 'skin-deep' variables are, for me, but the incidental 'wrappings' of what underneath has worth, or not, as the case may be.

Of course this post was consciously meant to stir reaction. Most of which I assumed would be defensive. But I was also hoping to stimulate at least a few responses that might go beyond cliché and speak from the heart...as it seems you have done (and a few others, as well).

Have no idea what the significance of this thread was. And really dont want to waste the mental energy. To try to find out. But if the OP. Would like to clarify what the point of this exercise was supposed to be. I would be willing to spend a few secs reading it. Since Ive wasted this much time, already.

You have underscored EXACTLY the point of this post. You've concluded that some men are like 'this,' and some are like 'that.' Ditto for women. And--most importantly--you've learned something about what others think and feel as well, whether you agree with them or not. Which, of course, is the main purpose of this forum. (Of course just as important: they've also learned something about you.)

Bump the bullshit. If you just want to screw me then say it. I'm a big girl. You mean no more to me than I to you. If it's casual sex and that's it? Grab your nuts and ask opposed to bullshitting me about the possibilities mentally.

Bravo score 1 for you, except you were stating the obvious, every woman on here is well aware of the game. But there's a difference between erotica and porn. If you express yourself in a crude way you know exactly the reaction you will get, so what exactly have you proven, nothing.
