Posted: 5/11/2007 2:18:35 AM | There's different degrees of nub. There's also different theories as to what it is about. Some think the person is just addicted to the chemical reactions that go on when they interact with the person. Do they love the person, or the chemical reaction? Both? Are they in love, or addicted? They the same thing? Others seem to think being in love has a more spiritual ground.
Assuming I know what the hell is going on with being in love, or at least what it feels like to be in it to some degree, here's some things to ask yourself. Would you be with that person over any other person in the world? It's possible to love more than one person I guess, but that question is very useful if there is currently only ONE potential person that you think you are in love with. May sound silly, but you might be surprised at how many people would pick a celebrity that they don't know over the person in question. Would you die for them? (suicidal people, don't bother asking, doesn't mean as much). And last but not least, do you feel like telling them you are in love with them? Pretty simple really. The problem comes from doubting something that isn't supposed to take brilliance to figure out. Or, the mind needing to know which label to use in describing to itself, it's current state. Is it a crush, infatuation, lust, need fullfillment, or love etc. Some or all of the above? | |

how about when you leave their presence your heart feels like a grape being crushed.
or you see somone beautiful on tv and think their not as beautiful as this person.
you see their face where ever you go.
you cant stop thinking about them even when you should be sleeping.
when the love is not returned your soul starts to feel like a block of ice.
or worse the person does something and leaves you like a gutted fish on the sidewalk.
been there done that have the scars to prove it.
the scars fade then you get back on that horse and prepare to get bucked off again. | |

I guess I sort of lost myself when I fell in love, and now it's over it's hard to recover. I guess I gave too much of myself away, but I couldn't help it. First time and feels like I'll never get over him.
Even before I met him in person I knew I loved him. It's like being on drugs, total NATURAL euphoria, like the whole world fades away and it's just the two of you and whitenoise nothingness.
Nothing else matters when you're in love. If the world exploded one particular second and that love had been reciprocated then you'd die contented.
Being in love is like just holding your hands out to the other person, but barely touching finger tips and feeling the magnetic pull.
Love is when, when they look at you, you feel invincible, they motivate you to do spontaneous things even when you're apart because you know they'll be there for you.
Love is when, if they ever stop loving you, you seriously want them to be happy and you let them go. Because only inflatuation seeks revenge.

Posted: 5/20/2007 9:04:59 AM | Everytime I see my boyfrriend my heart beats faster, I get butterflies and I keep smiling like the Cheshire Cat.
He is the first person I think of when I wake up and the last one I think of when I fall asleep at night. If he doesnt shine then I dont shine, I instantly want to hold him and tell him it will be ok and that I'm here for him forever. To look at him and know how much happiness he brings me just makes me smile.
Its difficult to describe but I miss him every second of the day that Im not with him. I love him to bits. I always thought that there would be no one who could take away years of pain, but here he is. Even though its still early days, I cant imagine my life without him. | |
