We'll gather at the Siesta Beach Pavilion at the picnic tables by the concession stand and will step out promptly for a beach walk. Meet about 7ish, hang out, have a couple of drinks (drinks are 2 for 1), maybe grab a bite to eat and make some new friends. Just tell the host/hostess your there for the POF gathering and look for a balloon.

I play disc golf with Taxman . We have for over a year. You should come out and play with us some time. The game consists of throwing smaller frisbee's, slightly heavier (disc's) into a chain baskets secured on a metal poles. Similar to golf you have a Par 3 throwing from varying distances, avoiding obstacles, like palmetto bushes, water holes, trees....lots of trees.....LOL You start from concrete pads and weave your way from pad to pad through the park to cover 18 baskets. | |

The concrete pad serves as the golf tee & there are metal baskets with chains going down the middle that serve as the golf hole. The idea is to throw the frisbee from thegolf pad & to put it in the metal basket with the fewest throws. There are 18 holes just like in regular golf. The nearest course to Aplebee's is at North Water Tower Park on Rilma Ave. off 47th St. between Old Bradenton Road & US 41 (near the Sarasota/Bradenton Airport). | |

We usually meet about 5:30-5:45 p.m. at North Water Tower Park in Sarasota (see directions above) & it usually takes about 2 hours to play 18 holes, depending on the number of people playing. | |

Once I do make the turn then I just go down till I hit ODonnel Ave? Then in your other fourm it is in Sarasoda. Sarasoda is 35 miles north of Toledo Blade 41 isnt it? Maybe there is a differentToledo Blade in Sarasoda the city . | |

Maybe I will get on a plane special and fly down here so I can make it to Applebees. Better yet I will charter a jet and be down here for the applebee dinner. Then I will take all of the POF Woman members who shows up at the dinner for a plane ride with a bottle of Champain LOL | |
