Posted: 5/13/2007 5:51:36 AM | Well Mrd64..can you hold that thought till next weekend? Its Mother's Day today so I am sure many are busy with family....BUT...
On Sunday, May 20th there will be a beach party at Siesta Key. The party will start about 10:00 a.m. and last until the last person goes home. There will be lots of activities for everyone, i.e. volley ball courts on the beach, swimming, tanning, and of course hanging out and getting to know new friends. There are restrooms right there for changing. Please bring a dish to share with everyone, whatever you want to drink and don’t forget your meats for the grills.
We will be at the picnic tables next to the tennis courts and will be easy to find, just look for the tables with a bunch of balloons and the dancing James Brown. | |

Wednesday Nite..May16th
How about meeting at the Applebees on University Parkway? Meet about 7ish, hang out, have a couple of drinks (drinks are 2 for 1), maybe grab a bite to eat and make some new friends. Just tell the host/hostess your there for the POF gathering and look for a balloon.

This Thursday nite..May 31..our POF comedian is going to be performing. Come on out and support him. What better way to get to know some new friends, than at a Comedy Club!!
McCurdy's: The Comedy Theatre is located in Sarasota, Florida just one mile south of the Ringling Museums and the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport in Trail Plaza at 3333 N. Tamiami Trail aka US 41. It is near the corner of US 41 & Myrtle Av. This location is conveniently situated on the border of Sarasota and Manatee counties to serve both communities equally. The Theatre is approximately two miles north of US 41 and Fruitville Road's Ritz Carlton Resort. The Comedy Theatre is just 10 minutes from I-75 and University Parkway's Lakewood Ranch community to the east, and only 10 minutes from Sarasota's world-class beaches to the west. It is approximately a one-hour drive from Tampa. To get to McCurdy's Comedy Theatre take your most convenient route to the intersection of US 41 and University Parkway which is the entrance to the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and the Ringling Museum and follow the above directions from that point. Remember if you are traveling north on US 41 we are one mile before you get to the airport.
