| What does it mean when.......
Posted: 7/6/2008 7:11:21 AM | It simply means that something attracted them enough to go to your profile...either your pic, or something you posted in a forum. An interesting statement you might make in a forum will cause someone to want to know a little more about you. For instance, your profile often shows your last five forum posts. They sometimes tell more about you than you profile itself does.
About the "who viewed me" feature...as a previous post says, you can select to hide the fact that you have viewed a profile. You can also hide your own profile. I've done both...mostly because I am only here for the forums these days. I've kind of given up on the "looking for someone" thing due to some past experiences, but I still like to read some ladies' profiles...curiosity, I guess. But I feel that since I'm not "in search of someone", it would not be fair to make them think that I was checking them out as a "possibility", so I remain "underground"...both with the profile and who I have viewed. So, obviously, no one every show as having "viewed my profile". | |

Posted: 7/6/2008 7:21:06 PM | | It means, they clicked on a thumbnail picture to get a better look. That's all. Sometimes I look if I think"Wow, Johnny Depp is on here?" "How old is that kid looking at me? Shame on him!" or "How old is that guy looking at me? OMG!" or "I think I know that guy!" ... could be anything at all. Doesn't always mean interest. Interest is expressed when someone sends an email. | |

I know that people look at my profile, and fail to message me. I do the same with others!
The beauty of the internet is that I can see who is out there without investing more time and energy than is needed!
Again, just my 2 cents! :)

Posted: 7/6/2008 11:47:38 PM | | Before they added the "viewed me" link, you had to add someone to you're favorites to show interest. I prefer to view a woman's profile, and wait to see if she views mine. Also, you can't always tell what she looks like by the thumbnail pics, so maybe thats why a lot of people look only once and never email them. | |
