| Big Brother Posted: 4/22/2007 3:09:42 AM | | well.....as per usual it looks like it is all models and "beautiful people" in the house........so i dont think i will be watching too much as i think it gets a bit annoying, i think they should put some "average" people in!!! | |

| Big Brother Posted: 4/22/2007 5:19:03 PM | It's a predominantly blonde household isn't it! At least the married guy with kids is a bit outside the square...although he's a bit similar in type to the blond surfy married guy, Paul, from some previous year. In fact they've done the hot blonde female lawyer before too.
The chick that was trying to get them to play games at the end there seems like an ideal choice as a poster-girl for the side effects of red cordial.
And doesn't Gretel look sexy this year.

| Big Brother Posted: 4/22/2007 5:19:51 PM | dont know if anyone caught how BB worded the suprise last night.
" there is no allocated prize money" key word there being allocated. so there is still a chance that the winner will recieve some monetary prize.
as for the contestants... whats with all the blonde 24 yr olds? i thought this was going to be about diversity?
i think the mormon chick will be interesting to watch roflmao!!
the girls seem to all be around 24 yrs old and the guys seem to be around 27+ yrs. will be interesting.
my first question is with the age groups is that showing that men tend to go for younger women? roflmao!!

| Big Brother Posted: 4/22/2007 10:59:47 PM | Im a watcher, theres nothing like watching caged people go insane thats funnier. Even when its all planned out. I will admit that the first series was the best. Cant beat that. I have found funnier stuff on youtube lately. Its like the saying goes "who's watching who"............. | |
|
| Big Brother Posted: 4/22/2007 11:30:55 PM | | I think they will have prize money, because I looked at the website, there is a section there for it - maybe the housemates will have to compete for it or something? | |

| Big Brother Posted: 4/27/2007 4:44:16 AM | I was forced (bribed with remaining easter eggs by my bunnies) to watch BB Friday night games...do I have to admit I laughed? Only disappointment was that she picked the wrong box...Darren Beadman's boots would have been the appropriate prize? | |

| Big Brother Posted: 4/27/2007 5:22:50 PM | I agree with post 33, The first BB was the best, closely followed by the one Ryan and Bree were in.
It's clear the writers of the show are bent, sadistic socially inept little vegemites. I commend them with their devious plot of Hayly, Andrew and Billy. I think poor Andrew is going to be shafted at some stage. It looks like TJ has high oestrogen levels and she'll bring lots more fun to future episodes. I'm so glad women can accept rejection so much better than guys. It makes you wonder where that silly saying, "Hell hath no fury,,," came from.

| Big Brother Posted: 4/30/2007 5:25:23 PM | I nominate Atalia for 2 points,,,,,,because she threatened to become a closet BB watcher again, tried to compare us to the BB situation and then referred to us as labrats and this has affected my time on the forums by making me feel worried about her sanity and the sanity of the other members who I watch and listen to everyday. I nominate 1800 for one point because 1800 is a free call with a suggestive theme after it. It's just so cheap. She could have at least made it a 1300 number , cost of a local call with some sort of personal revelation. This has affected my time on the forums by making me worry about the sanity of all the people on the forums and how cheap we all really must feel. | |

| Big Brother Posted: 5/1/2007 5:22:39 AM | I started this thread ready to get right into BB and I got as far as the first night and that has been it. I have heard of the White Room and Hayley's relationships and that is far as I have gotten with the program. Am I missing out on anything or shall I just keep away. And what is this I hear no prize money, can someone please fill me in.
Sorry guys I can't contribute much to this thread, but it's a good way of keeping in touch with the goings on BB.

| Big Brother Posted: 5/1/2007 6:08:30 AM | this year they have to earn their prize money by successful completion of the weekly tasks....... Hayley and Andrew passed it this week for the group, earning the winner $50,000.
Whats everyone's views on the housemates having all their food taken away and it being replaced by the 'white room' diet....... How long before they get sick of porridge 3 times a day and walk?
|
| Big Brother Posted: 5/1/2007 6:18:12 AM | Hayley and Andrew won $50,o00 ... wow that would make them a very happy couple.
diet? omg I have to watch it this week and definitely catch up.
How Would I Know.. thanks again.. you seem to be an expert on where to access information.

| Big Brother Posted: 5/4/2007 8:50:09 AM | I LOVE Big Brother!! Bring it on, man. I get teased and bagged out on by my so-called "friends" for being a fan of the show, but I will NOT succumb to peer pressure!!
My main reasons for loving the show are:
1. The fact that 99% of the housemates are insane hypocrits 2. You get to laugh at the stupid things they say - and I am talking about when they're sober! 3. There's that *cringe* factor - you know what I mean, sometimes you realise they are so dumb you almost feel embarrassed for them. 4. Waiting to see who will make this year's "sexual faux-pas" a la the "turkey slap" 5. The chance to see actual PENIS on TV as opposed to women's breasts all the damn time.
Yippee! | |

| Big Brother Posted: 5/10/2007 11:00:19 PM | Has anyone seen much of the show since the "Starburst Kid" hit the scene? I haven't had a chance to watch it, though I hear he is causing a bit of a stir.
Also, did anyone else notice that the four "starburst" runners-up were ALL FEMALE, BLONDE, SKINNY and in their EARLY TWENTIES?? Is it just me, or are the BB producers dirty old perverts?

Its not just you, that Starburst competition night was very disappointing and all it showed was that the BB producers have a thing for blonde big breasted girls. We were led to believe that winning the competition was based on luck and randomness but then they decided to hand pick the 5 finalists, meaning that anyone who was overweight, average looking, or too old had completely wasted their time. I felt sorry for them, you could tell they knew there was no chance of getting picked once the selection process was announced. Did anyone else noticed that there appeared to be an open tube or pipe under each of the 5 boxes?? I think there was no randomness about it at all, and that they key was pushed into the box from underneath after the finalists chose their positions. The house contains no gay guys........4 girls against 1 gay guy and the gay guy wins?? ......Does anyone else think the competition was fixed?
