Wow - I am overwhelmed and touched... accept my hugs.
Thanks for your good thoughts, healing energies and good, old fashioned prayers.

Insurance approved MRI of spine, results came into today, but I missed the Dr.'s call
(should it disturb me that my Dr. called me herself and didn't sound perky as usual?)
My Dr. is kind of like a very bright Mississippi sorority girl with the bedside manner of Marcus Welby in high heels.

I look at it this way, if we can diagnose it, we can probably fix it. Like the "Bob the Builder" song ---- "Can we fix it? YES! We can!"

Thanks to my faithful sidekick, BicPen for rallying the troops! She's my bestest friend!

Other developments---Mother has found a man. On Sept 10th, it will be 2 months since our 1st date. He has been super sweet in spite of all the trials and tribulations of late. In the small world department, it turns out he works with my (step)brother-in-law.
I met him here on the pond. He looks like a kind-hearted middle aged Viking (all white-blond and glacier blues) he smokes cannibis from a corncob pipe so I call him Papa Smurf. Going on vacation together next week (that usually makes or kills a romance)
Tunica, Miss. for the Casinos and Memphis, Tenn because Mama do love her blues.

I'll try to be strange, but not a stranger.

We missed you mother and smile with your happiness.

When darkness comes a calling
A candle springs to life
Shadows painting murals
Obliterate the strife

Sing when the echoes vanish
Into a heart that feels its pain
When mother comes a calling
The love seems not in vain.

As I sit here on the beach,
My normal life seems so out of reach.
The waves are hitting the sand,
I just wish you were here to hold my hand.
I know you are far away, here I could never stay.

You are who I am missing,
Right now I wish you and I were kissing.

As I sit here putting seashells in a jar.
I know in my heart,
That I never want us to part.
When everything seems so out of line,
It all changes when I see you, everything's fine.

As I sit here I know my love is yours forever,
And I don't want our hearts to sever.

Take my hand and come with me,
To a beautiful place called ecstasy.
Undressing you with first my eyes, and then with my hands.
My fingers massaging your head,
A passionate hunger of wanting you so, much more.
My lips meet yours and our tongues entwine.

Caressing your body gently as I lay beside you whispering softly, I love you, I want you, I need you..
Loving you completely, and passionately,
Watching your body quiver with such sweet pleasure.

Touching your heart, mind, body, and soul,
You tell me not to stop you want more.
My mouth can feel your racing pulse,
The uncontrollable urge to feel your love,
Slow and deep inside me.
I want to revel in this beautiful pure perfect bliss.
Now, and forever I want to breathe and live within this desire.

Crank it up
The beat meets the soul
Slow it down
Look around

Crank it up
I love that sh*t
You hear that?
That’s all I need

Crank it up
Who cares but me?
The sound is everything
I feel so energized

Crank it up
Louder and louder until everything fades
Not the beat
Flow

Crank it up
Slip into that space
Rhythm of time
Damn it feels right

Crank it up
Slurp it down
Turn around
Peace

Crank it up
Wash it all away
Escape provided
Thump

Crank it up
Who is that?
Its me, it’s you, it’s everything
It’s music

Thank You for the royal welcome back Autumn and Aoibhean!
Autumn is lovely and beautiful as the season she is named for and Aoibhean's name---
well--- where did that come from my poetic princess? Some Celtic goddess-bard of lore?

dancing is required

with attitude

Hip action --- well, I'll do my best. MRI came back, "Bulging disks" (damn, "bulging" sounds like even my spine is fat), athritis and bone spurs on at least 4 vertabre. Well, no wonder my back was hurting, going to spine doc next week after Papa Smurf and I get back from vacation. Kind of scared.... never been on vacation with a man like this.
Down South, such fornication vacations are called "going off with some man."

Woke with a migraine but I am undetered. My body is trying to give me an "out." We leave today.

At my age
Is this the last dance, last chance
or the first day of the rest of my life

At my age
Should I know better than to upset the status quo
Should curiousity still prod me like a braver playmate

At my age
When I have long since lost my faith
Why can't I pull it's rules from my mind?
Why do I still feel God's eyes upon my skin
Like a hungry but disapproving voyuer?

At my age
Is it time to play it safe, settle into a life of propriety
Or is it finally time to make amends for the soberiety of my youth?

At my age
I thought I would know.......

(plagerism police - "sobriety of my youth" is from "When I am an Old Woman, I Shall Wear Purple")

You whisper into my ear,
Sweet things that make me weak,
Then you look into my eyes,
With your mysterious provocative gaze,
Causing you to touch my skin,
To feel the burning of your flames,
Caressing me with a love that is real, then you kiss me..
As I feel your wet eager lips,
Our hungry tongues indulging in their craving,
Sending electrify emotions?!
Stimulating pure intoxication,
As your hands flows over me;
Touching every curve and every part of me ...
It seems I move my legs apart automatically,
As you lift me on the erotic ride,
While my body you know I will guide,
Just listen to our song, making love all night long,
The flames of passion, desire and love,
Is taking control over us.

Believe in your heart that something wonderful is about to happen.
LOVE YOURSELF!
Believe in your own strength, and your own potential, and in your own innate goodness.
Wake every morning, with the awe of just being alive.
Discover each day the magnificent, awesome beauty in the world,
Explore and embrace life in yourself, and in everyone you see each day.
Reach within to find your own specialness.
Amaze yourself and rouse those around you, to the potential of each day.
Don't be afraid to admit, that you are less than perfect.
This is the essence of your humanity.
Let those who love you help you.
Trust enough to be able to take.
Look with hope to the horizon of today,
For today is all we truly have.
Live this day well.
Let a little sun out as well as in.
Create your own rainbows.
Be open to all your possibilities; all possibilities and Miracles.

ah ...
those carnal cavortings
closely resembling contorting
pasted across eachother
in a collage of all you've ever been
sailing against the winds of time
holding the line
just fine enough to snuff out fear
clear your sinal passage to mediocrity
that antihistomine called love is still potent
any age
any place
any one can change the pace
replace the spaces between bad notes
alter the timing
you now have a joke
change it again
count to ten
seriously folks
two more tokes
were gone
have to find a new ending to the song
it can go on so long
feel so strong
then sigh and go to sleep.
we do need our rest

how can i carry on in this path i walk
2 be a wife 2 a husband my heart dosnt know
2 be a mother 2 children i try so hard 2 conect with
yet i feel nothing
a cold emptyness
im lost
i and i know i dont belong here
but somwhere else
there is a love lost without me
a love so great that my soul crys from its loss
and now i walk in a shadow
of what and who i know i can be
of who i know i once was
somwhere out there.............

Going Back

Words..
of 26 letters...
Reading them once again,
Watchin the truth unravel.
Riminising..
Powerful..
Corruption of the mind,
Fading memories..
Refreshed
Letting our lives
Unfold in archives
Where were we...
Yesturday..
Where will we...
be Tomorrow.
Words...
will let us know!

Resorted to sawdust
in a world of carpenters and termites
Crumbling to the ground my heart is alive,
yet shattered
The night’s too dry
too long to matter
Forsaken I cry
to die with eyes that splatter the tears to ashes
and in sawdust I return my life.

So, is it because
the moon, in its fullness
shifts its focus
on me?

Or, is it you
sweet lunar woman
in full ebb?

Silly question of course.
The answer is clear
to me if I think
like a cat.

It’s always you,
the moon
and the other,
the mist.

The three
Triad of strength.
power within

earth mother
princess and
common woman
rise,

sister dear
take my hand
in the circle dance
tonight.

A passionate night between me and you,
I can't begin to tell you the things I want to do.
First we can dim the lights and get closer..,
NO, Wait, that's too fast, let's go back and move a little slower.

I'll kiss your lips that are so soft, and sweet,
Then move on to your cheek that's so manly and unique,
Then I'll move right along that ear of yours,
Whoa... my, my.. let me move along your chest..,
Uh, Ohh I missed a spot, let me moved back up to the neck,
As I move my tongue around and around...,
You start to feel it as I go down slowly, and as I kiss your chest,
Your hands go up, but I'm not finish yet...
I go futher down towards your navel,
As I move down past your waist line, I begin to kiss...ohhh
Oh, no!, I just wake up to realize it's a dream,
A passionate dream fueled by my deep love for you.

i hate to come into a thread so late
to see so many words blur before me
they become one long poem and dazzle me
endlessly i read on page after page
and the lines skip eachother blend together
im lost forever deep in the talent of others
and so i come to this place at the end
last not least and i brand a page with my name
not the same as a free verse poem
but close enough to duck the radar
and grace this thread lovingly with reverence
for all the word weavers above it
thank you for your inspiration always pleasant
to feel my spirit flooded with all you have
and all youve done
and so here is the result of your literary prodding
enjoy

As all I want is to let go of all this love I have in store,
You got me twisting..
Soaking wet,
I feel you as you are pausing deep inside me,
And then I feel you pull out and pull back in,
I moan from pure delight and ecstasy.
I get the shivers,
But.. Ohhhhhh
Is from the fire lite inside my being.
My body is slippery everywhere,
I scream.. please, harder and harder.
I call out your name,
Crying out in anguished bliss,
A slight sigh..,
A gasp for air..
This fire is so immense,
So full of energy and heat, even water could not quench,
This fire inside of me, cause your love,
Always will remain, burning there endlessly,
Cause you make my erotic senses rise,
While you take me higher and higher.
In the pleasurable ride of yours,
That I just can't get enough, because without you and your love,
There could not be a hot sexual taste in me.

When the Shadows Beckon

The Shadows fall
In the absence of light
You feel the clarity
As the impending darkness
Surrounds you completely
Finally seeing everything
So clearly for the first time
Yet nothing of any consequence
All that lies before you
In the forever fleeting haze
Is nothing more
And nothing less
Than the moments lost
And those yet to be found
Your hand before your face
Is just as obscure
As the writing on the wall
Words incomprehensible
In the absence of light
Like everything else they are there
But what you cannot see
You cannot hope to understand
So in the end these too
Are powerless to cause you pain
For you cannot suffer
From what you do not know
From what you cannot see coming
Cursing the darkness
You might light a single candle
There in the flickering glow
The shadows slowly encompass you
Dancing once more in the corners
So close yet always just out of reach
Cloaked by tranquility
Enshrouded in a gloomy peace
Hearing nothing but steady silence
Or so you had thought
Till you become aware
Of your own shallow breath
In slow staccato rhythm
With the sound of your still beating heart
Then you are reminded anew
That you live and shall live
That you will continue to breathe
Once the candle wanes once more
When the shadows beckon
In the absence of light
The clarity of the darkness
Will surround you
Only then will you know
What you've always suspected
You are indeed truly alive
