| Free Verse Poetry Festival -everybody welcome Posted: 10/15/2007 3:48:56 PM | I once thought love was a mere myth, Fantasy, existing only in ones deepest hopes. Bitterness possessed me, I cried out to you God, for a calm spirit, I begged and waited with bated breath, But my hopes grew dim, My soul became weary, my desires became dull, My agony was consuming me all at once.
Just as I thought I could go no lower, Suddenly in my darkness, appeared light and from that light, Issued forth great intellect and understanding from a divine source, That source being you God. You gave me the understanding, That love was a reality that was possible, For any heart to feel and so, you sent me a precious love, A love, which I hold so dear to my heart, More precious than the finest materials.., In existence and of splendid value.

| Free Verse Poetry Festival -everybody welcome Posted: 10/16/2007 6:35:41 PM | Love comes through the eyes That help me see this wonderful man Whom of which I can always stand,
Love comes through the ears That never hear fears They help me hear the words from you and help me pull through
Love comes through the hands That make you my man Your touch creates chills Which make me go through many thrills.
Love comes through the mouth That will one day make you my spouse, You say the right things at the right time, which help me keep my state of mind.
Love comes through dreams, that make us gleam I dream about life with you in it And everything seem lit.
Love comes through smiles That extend for miles,
Love comes through affection, that makes me feel your protection, I feel safe and secure, And always come back for more.

| Kisses in the Rain Posted: 10/16/2007 6:40:15 PM | Raising my face to the gray skies above me, I smile as my eyes close to the feel of damp eyelashes brushing against my cheek. I feel your warm wet lips tracing the lines of my throat. Your slick wet arms wrap around me pulling me close as an orchestra of thunder announces the coming of a fresh spring shower. We smile, lips pressed lightly together as our love is baptized with kisses in the rain. | |

| Free Verse Poetry Festival -everybody welcome Posted: 10/16/2007 6:49:56 PM | Have you ever seen the world in a panoramic view? If you have you are one of few. Many people are narrow minded, self-centered, and blinded, of what the world has to offer. Music, dance, art and literature, are what this world has in its panoramic picture. Love, hope and dream, are in this world's panoramic scene. Before you go on about your life, struggling with today hectic strife, remember that we are all in this world together, we can make it forever. If we see the world's panoramic picture. | |

| Phoenix Rising~Free Verse Poetry Festival Posted: 10/16/2007 7:56:09 PM | Silver tears slide down on a face focused upon a once joyous soul consumed and charred by lethally worded flames. A face unsmiling and listless as Life passes by watched by dully glassed eyes.
Ah, but look again; as this cold shell is warmed by the unexpected arrival of a gracious humanity bearing gifts of life affirming smiles and a quietly affectionate dignity. Unconditional caring and affirmation ... endearing validations ... ... such bright saviors to a malnourished spirit!
See those eyes sparked by the fiery opalescent colors of wondrous new realizations and feelings. Bright lit emotions long comatose and left buried in the dusty remnants and ashes of loves lost but not forgotten. Stale dreams tattered and scattered.
Watch the fluttering of a heart jump-started by an infusion, a warm transfusion, of love and affection. Feel the brush of jewel colored wings soaring away in the winds of hopes and dreams rejuvenated and renewed. A Phoenix once clipped and grounded by losses and sorrows, once again in majestic flight.
A Miracle. | |

| Free Verse Poetry Festival Posted: 10/16/2007 8:17:41 PM | Welcome everyone - Vixen ---many warm salutes, I've just been too distracted to praise everybody the way I'd like to normally.
It seems the poetry gets better when I leave..... :(
My romance went bad, complete with having to call the sheriff out, having my lover arrested and receiving death threats from the jail cell. Papa Smurf's court date is Nov. 14 for Domestic Harassment. I remember now why I was so down on love for so long. So strange how a man can be be so wonderful and turn into another person under the influence . I was starting to open up in a way I thought had died and now I feel so damn stupid.
Keep writing, sweet children. I'm just beyond words now.

| Your Last Warning Posted: 10/16/2007 8:20:21 PM | For you Earth Mother~
Don't take me for granted just because I'm there. Don't neglect me don't use or abuse me, just show me you care, I'm not here cause I need you I'm here cause I want you, but I wont love a man who can do what you do, and I may be in tears, but I WILL walk away So if you want me, you'll do what you can to get me to stay. In the mean time I'm fighting back, I'm standing my ground better treat me good babe, or I wont stick around. Next time you think you can smack me down, lift your hand to my face, or shove me down....
...Don't | |

To you I may live in a world of dark and light, but I see crystalline clear, thru bright curtain sheer, the myriad of sounds in the air, a movie reel of color, at my beck and call deep purple pounding, thrusting heavy green rhythmic pleasures, so mellow, soft yellow sun shot shade of tinkling bells, bright gold music….sweet! offerings to me on a dull gray leaden platter, exquisite! To my senses light shimmering of gold and pink, holding out deep blue Visions of joy, touching me with violet dreams of forevers and Clarifying my blank stare with silver vibrating clear pictures of my loves who thrust into me orange-red hot shots of my passions which explode, deepening into the warmth of a coated brown fur contentment, holding out the occasional grey goose mist shot of my swallowed sorrows, containing small cold blue fragile ice chips of fire opal color, and I hold no fear of so many blinded tomorrows, filled with fearfully emptied unseeing emerald eyes, lightening cam quick fire bright shots of light which red spark my senses, Showing me credit card plastic clearly, that Though I may live in an Armani dress world of black and white, I see thru my children’s laughter sound filled voices… A rainbow…

| Your Last Warning Posted: 10/16/2007 8:34:03 PM | I know the strength inside yourself will soon defeat that darkened health the bottle never leads to good bet to use sparingly in the right hood yes its fun to celebrate with a few sometimes its those we thought we knew transformed into a slothing beast stumbling and crubling all not deceased the best is to stay at a distance don't trust any kind of drunken assistance I know your strength will find a way to bring this mother back to play we all make some bad decissions even sometimes in revisions know I feel and hope for you follow the light and come on through. its not really that far out or above just keep on believeing in real love know what emphatuation and lust can do you don't have to deny it but know whats true its not the first horse out of the gate its the one whos pace can overcome fate eventually finishing a strong race head up high with proud strong face.

| Free Verse Poetry Festival - All Welcome Posted: 10/16/2007 8:48:50 PM | We all want to believe in magic That enchantments and potions Can alter the outcome. We all want to believe in miracles That prayers and piety Can overcome another's freewill, Even our own. We all want to believe in love And second chances So we forgive and forget the lessons Of the past-- If we remember how it ends And that it always does Why are we here at all? | |

We all want to believe in magic That enchantments and potions Can alter the outcome. We all want to believe in miracles That prayers and piety Can overcome another's freewill
Wish you could have read a thread over in religion...... Ask cashey*
Even our own.
Never question your own free will You are free to rewrite the script?
We all want to believe in love And second chances So we forgive and forget
Forgive...but dont forget Find that place where peace lives...for YOU And dont let anything in that disturbs it Be the peace warrior And sometimes to do that...you gotta make a stand ......and know that if you do Someone who *loves* you will understand Not turn away from you
If we remember how it ends And that it always does
Can I write a different version?
If we remember how it ended And that it always did Then here is my chance to see I never did like that script
Why are we here at all
Its the chance to see what is NOT LOVE To see that what we always believed it WAS perhaps Is NOT LOVE after all
To learn to write our OWN script One in which we are LOVED in a way where The word NO does not always bring JUDGEMENT And voilence and hate
Thats..............NOT LOVE
And we have the chance to at last turn away We have the right to leave NOT LOVE We learn we cannot change NOT LOVE
Because......its......NOT LOVE It never was
*LOVE*
(hug from me)

With each passing minute of each passing day saying I don't love you is something I cannot say
If I had one wish this is what it would be to see you once again looking so peacefully
My heart was broken my heart was sad to tell you goodbye I sure wish I had
But I now know that your watching me from above although I can't see you I can still feel your love

| Wilted Ivy Posted: 10/17/2007 8:32:41 AM | You.. Wilted Ivy..clinging hard and dry to the rock wall around your heart Daily growing more brittle on that arid plain of emotion- Before you had whithered I watered your garden with my tears, but the salt of my sorrow gnarled your branches more. Your vines, how they grip into the crevice of some dark and haunting secret! What gardener could sow on such rocky terrain? What life can one reap out of such pain? And so, Wilted Ivy- Keep your foothold strong- you've determined to live your life all alone- But I, a weeping willow, know I have planted seed amoung the thorn, and out of all lifes' sorrows is where contentment's borne! | |

| The New Dawn Posted: 10/18/2007 6:49:34 AM | It has been over a year though I know The ships have sailed as new days dawned Yet I find I still remember her number Even before I remember my own Like her it too crosses my mind On a painfully regular basis Though I remain hesitant to make the call
Absent mindedly tracing the hazy lines Of what is now no more than just a memory Unable and unwilling to move forward Able only to look back once again and smile Time passes as the people you love change Yet the visage of her lovely face The memory of her lilting lacivious laughter Invades both my sleeping and waking moments
There is within me a fire that yet still burns Who's embers I stoke with my thoughts As I gently kindle it with my soul Though still now unable to truly love another Still unable to love myself despite myself Unwilling to forget it all despite the pain it brings
Passing from day to day with determination In a vain attempt to avoid the empty hours That leave me to my own thoughts As my own thoughts so often betray me Always returning to my memories of her Hoping only that with each and every new day I will find a means to enjoy the new dawn In a manner that does not always remind me of her So I might at last find peace and serenity within it's light

| Free Verse Poetry Festival -everybody welcome Posted: 10/18/2007 7:07:00 AM | Just a little something of mine I would like to share
The Journey As we walk through life hand in hand. Our souls intertwinned with love. Yes the love between a woman and a man. We bask in the sunlight of love. As we traverse this place on a journey. A journey we call life. Over the mountains of tribulations. The valleys of pleasure. To the plains of contentment. Wrapped in the warmth of love. In each others arms we lay. We walk the sands of time. Swim the rivers of destiny. With faith in our hearts. We no longer harbor fears. As our journey leads us where we need to be. Walter Frederick Russell

| Free Verse Poetry Festival -everybody welcome Posted: 10/18/2007 12:29:50 PM | I recall you saying that this wouldn't be fair to me-- (I say little in life is fair) You don't want to hurt me--(I'm already hurting) It will hurt even more later (I might not be here later to feel it) ......Don't think about yesterday (I'm not HER) ......Don't worry about tomorrow... Leap in with me now - both feet Drown with me now in this moment..hate me after if you dare, but love me for this second...(nothing feels feels quite as good or tastes quite as sweet as it does the first time) Drink the wine from my lips - let me take you to a place where time stops (the clock is ticking..) Run into my arms - Jump into the riptide - Lets swim in that forbidden pool; where ecstacy quotes our lives, and we can surf this wave of pleasure ... Go under now - feel yourself submerged in the sublime- The warm waters encapsulating your soul..soak it up and let it wash away your regret; for we both know when we emerge, the winter winds will blow (I can see it coming) Leaving us chilled to the bone, clinging naked together, vulnerable and contemplating our folly.. (Tick tick) Time is fleeting..I feel you being pulled away from me by your conscience (we might have been good ) and your eyes have been clouded from me (Do you really know me?) Turn now and run into your sorrow..wrap it around your nakedness to hide from me (now you're leaving....) ................................the love affair that never was.......... | |

| I Am a Woman Posted: 10/18/2007 2:32:02 PM | I see those eyes of yours, roaming over those Girls blonde, blue-eyed hipless stick figures, held up as icons of all that should be Pretty. And I smile within as you turn to me because I look at you and know you see the Woman I am and all my beauty. My hair, long, fiery, enticingly wrapped around you, as I burn you with hot kisses. My arms, rounded, white holding you close, pulling you into me, making us one. I am a Woman. Feel my breasts, pressed against your body, firm, full, birthed for your pleasuring lips, to ease your strife, to nurture a life. I am a Woman with my belly softly rounded to the touch, lick me sweet, as it curves softly into flared hips made, molded, to cradle your passions, to hold onto as you fill me with your hot needs. Yeah ... I am a Woman with my womans core, your perfect fit, deeply scorching you, soothing your rages, your fires, your sweet dark desires. Look at me, I am a Woman.
