Posted: 4/17/2007 6:39:08 PM | There are a few reasons why getting too wet might be annoying, embaressing or misleading.
I find it incredibly irritating when I get 'too' wet because it gets to the point where you almost can't feel anything. When it's over lubricated, there is little friction and can ruin the mood for the woman even though the guy might find it enjoyable since it makes his job easier. The male equivalent of this would be like ****ing a chick with a loose****(like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.)
Obviously walking around with a wet spot on your ass isn't going to be the most comforting thing in the world - of course she's going to get embaressed! I can't believe that anyone would even say that it's out of the question or silly to be embaressed about something like that. And leaving a soaking wet spot in your partners bed is embaressing too, even if it's not being publicly broadcasted.
Now, I don't know about all women, but personally I get wet sometimes when I'm not turned on. I'm just naturally lubricated. My partners, however, don't understand that and assume that just because I'm wet it means that I am turned on or horny. If you ever meet a woman who is desert dry when you reach down to feel her then that is some kind of sign. If you reach down and she's wet, it means nothing. In that sense, lubrication ( especially in excessive amounts ) can be misleading.
In the long run, we all have different comfort levels and I don't think it's fair that anyone would be critisizing her reaction to her issue.

Then, eventually, when I want to please myself, there's just too much lubrication. I haven't noticed it when I'm with someone, though, so maybe it's a masturbation thing.
Sometimes I'll receive a graphic e-mail from a friend and I feel like I need to change my panties after. If I get more than one e-mail a day like that or within an hour or so of each other, well, I DO need to change panties. This one caught me off guard. I was having a rambling conversation with a female friend, who mentioned that she gets very wet when she's turned on (down there, you know). I guess she tends to soak her panties and/or produce a lot of lubrication during sex.
The problem? She said that she hates it! "It's too messy," she said. And she gets embarassed by it. I never imagined that this would be a problem for women. If your body indicates that you're turned-on, it's a good thing, right?
Maybe she's not talking about during sex, but at inconvenient/inappropriate times. Driving. In the mall. In a business meeting. Women aren't always in control of their back-of-the-mind thoughts any more than men are. It happens. I can't say it's ever got to the point of being "too" messy or embarassing, but it happens. | |
