Posted: 4/17/2007 2:02:11 PM | I am a fairly new member and am greatful for the site, freedom of speech and the improvments you provide. Like yourself i am a bit of a statistician and enjoy the NEW 'personality search' as I was a psych major in Freud/Jung. I wish more would use it as it's a great tool. Not sure what the purpose of points would be? I think the idea of winks IS GREAT because it creates an "icebreaker" for those whom are shy or just want to test the waters of interest. I was going to suggest the possibility of "hiding" already VIEWED profiles that someone may have already SEEN or may have no interest in so that the 'same profiles' dont keep turning up in searches? I fully supported the concept of at least a HEAD SHOT as the main image and posted as such.

I like it the way it is,to many goofy little things are more ways for the site not to function properly and it works great as it is,infact it is the best of all dating sites not only because its FREE,but because it works!!!! Keep up the good work!
p.s. however if there was a way to enlarge the pictures when you pull up a profile that would help! | |

I don't want to have contact from certain races for dating purposes but I don't know what race they are if they don't have a picture. It would save a lot of time for some of us. I feel like everyone should have to post a picture. No we are not all beauty queens or handsome princes' we are like God made us, if you don't like us then dont contact us. Posted: 4/17/2007 2:11:16 PM | Don't do it. It is starting to sound a lot like a pay site that way. We don't need winks when we have the ability to email people. Winks are used on pay sites to entice people to pay a membership in order to reply.
You have a great site and I have sent many of my friends here. Please don't do anything to it. Okay wait on that note. You have made some great changes, better icons, ability to see who is looking at you, and the ability to comment on changes before you implement them. | |

Point system doesn't sound great to me.
If the wink's are simple and fun then go for it. Alot of people don't even know when event's are happening. Even if the event's are posted in the green link. People are still blinded about that. How are they gona figure out how to work the point system? Maybe fix that.
HOW EVER
I do love how you created the local posting of the forum's at the bottom of the inbox!!! Maybe create something with favorite's. When you have an event you are able to send out the same email to all the favorite's at once or something like that.
PS I don't want this site turning into other site's. I like how this site is different. All those other site's with the wink's and the paying of it. Just isn't fun and a waste of time. Where this site you can actually make a friend or two or 100!!!!!  | |

This has become the only service I will use because it's free, like Yahoo and AOL USED to be.  Yahoo now is ridiculously overpriced, and you can't even reply to a paying member now if you're not also a paying member!!! So I pray this is not the first step towards membership fees. 
The only reason I have sent winks on other dating sites is to let someone know I might be interested because I'm not a paying member, and hoping they are and will reply. It might be useful for women to use as a sort of cyber hanky drop, but I find it equally useful to just look at who has viewed me and then initiate e-mail.
On the other hand, if the point system could earn us more roses, or something else of value, that would be intriguing. | |

Why not add the age and state of that person?
Like you see me Vanilla Scent then you see below there history and v.profile.
For us lazy folk's why not add there age and state under there screen name?
That's a cute idea. Esp for the one's who like to stay in there state. Or when they view you (which is an awesome idea bye the way love it) with clicking on the next button to see all pictures. GREAT JOB THERE!!!! Add there age and state next too it. As well.
