There's lots of profiles that I've read that have caught my interest but I never know what to say in a first email. I'm kind of old-fashioned and think the guy should make the first contact. HOWEVER, I'd have no problem sending wink. If I get a wink back then I don't mind starting a conversation. (Sometimes cyber life mimics real life).
But the points system .. ack. I agree with a previous comment .. just give out a set amount per month.
Or alternatively you could do both .. for example, give out 5 per month, if a person wants more then they have to do one or all your suggestions for more points / winks. | |

I never did like the rose thing. I think it's corny. It reminds me of the cheap roses one would buy from the gas station as a gesture of some sort of trailer trashy love. Winks could be fun as it is more like flirting. Maybe stay away from the labels of the other dating sites and call it "blowing a kiss" instead. Have some originality. | |

Isn't it just as easy to respond or not respond for yourself. This kind of programs setup "supposed " expectation of how a person will respond or not respond etc. I like the site just as it is. it also is a little creepy that someone could have 6000 points and it would really mean nothing, may I ask why this is even a issue?is there some reason why, or problem your trying to address , hopefully if you do this , you will take the user into consideration and allow
folks to be able to opt out. I just don't see the point

I got caught sending roses, and got virtually no responses till the roses came back. Now I wouldn't send one for love nor money.
Explain to me the purpose of a wink, and how it's different from the "Hey Baby" email that we all hate so much. Who's gonna volunteer to moderate all the:" I sent a wink, and the Beeatch/Baastard didn't even bother to reply" threads?

- interests
- pictures
- or if the person is nice all together
There are some people who only post: "just ask me" or "prefer not to say" or "blah, blah, blah" | |
