I thought the winks was nice to have. winks can be used as a sign of interest. It was a bloodless battle. We swung our light sabers...which, of course, cauterized the areas of missing body parts as the sabers cut and sliced. But, the voices of the non winkers were at a decible level which would cause the deafest dog to go screeching, paw over ear...
Alas, the drone armies were brought in and we, the Jedi, retreated....temporarily though. Only temporarily. We shall return! Ya can bet yer booty on that.  | |

But personally I think sending short, concise, polite e-mails is a better way to communicate than "winking" or "gifting". Besides lots of other dating websites do the winks--not very creative calling it "winking". Perhaps Admin can think of a fishing-analogy for winking and gifting, like "offering bait" (a response back would be a "nibble") or "take a fishing trip with me". At least that indicates some originality. | |

Oh well don't guess it matters we here to meet people not go cyber fishing, better to meet and go real fishing.  | |

To emails you could have generic replies as well as option for a personal one.
They could say.....
