That is why it is very important not to jump into a relationship (casual) with out thinking and communicating your position. If you don't feel the other person can handle that type of relationship, DON'T DO IT!!! Someone will get hurt, and that is always a risk with any type of relationship. Some people are just too easy to attach emotionally, and others are not mature enough to handle it. COMMUNICATION!!!!!!!! Is the issue. Again...not advocating fwb....just trying to give different perspective. I for one, do not think casual sex is the same as a one night stand. In that case, neither of you probably expect it to continue anyway.
Just one persons opinion....

I just spent 4 months doing an internship in a very busy OB/Gyn's office (gynecologist) and I gotta tell ya, I saw some pretty funky STDs there. Am I the only one worried about this? Frankly, I am scared to do anything with anyone now. I haven't been single in a LONG time, and now I am seperated from my STBX, and the thought of sleeping with a stranger just scares me to death. 'Specially after seeing all that funky stuff at the dr's office I worked at. The last time I was single, the worst thing you had to worry about was herpes, and even that was pretty rare. It's enough to keep me celibate for life!  | |

If I went out with a woman and she told me she was looking for something long-term I’d drop her like a bad habit. But, not for the reasons you may think. I’d drop her because telling me something like that sounds desperate and needy. The LAST thing I want in my life is a desperate, needy woman!
I know everyone here has experienced that needy, clingy person that loooooooooves you. I have no doubt that you handled it the same way I do, RUN FOR THE HILLS! Alternatively, the too often used “can’t we just be friends?” | |

You admit a fib in your profile, like you can't fix the age error...hmmmm...why don't ya just do that?
I just love it when someone states they don't like fibs or dishonest profiles and then you find out they fibbed (lied) about their age, smoking, marital status and so on.
I am with Sunny on this one, you could fix that age fib real easy on your profile. It's under edit profile in case you forgot where you put that incorrect information in. | |

Actually age is one of the options it won't let you edit.
That is completely incorrect, you go to edit profile then -->Edit More Registration Details like passwords. Then you change to the year you were ACTUALLY born and presto chango the system calculates it for you. For your age to be wrong you have to pretty much intentionally put in the wrong year. It is possible to accidently select another year but it's very easily correctable.
If a person lies about their age right off the bat, what else are they going to lie about? | |
