I LOVE THE IDEA OF A BBQ at a park!!! There's a lot of work to do there, I think that you need to get permission from the state (if it's a state park) but I'll be more than happy to help in any way I can. I would LOVE to start it as a daytime event that goes into the night if possible.

Would love to be a part of the Get Together any Idea's yet on where we all can have this ? If not then I would like to help out by doing a little research on a few places out here on the East end. Funny how we walk through life not knowing one another until someone as Yourself decides to bring each of us Together. We drive our Lives in our cars, We whisper into the wind on our cell phones, and as we stand behind the rows of carts waiting for the next cashier, the person who may be holding up the line in front of us may in fact be our next best friend. But in today's busy world it seems as if the only time we truly have is in our sleep and even then we are governed by the hands of time.

EXACTLY! We all make our own fun. If someone didn't enjoy , they have no one to blame but themselves. So what part did Maverick play in planning this? Hmmmmmm. Oh that's right he just showed up. Next time he can plan his own fun.

Thank you for the kind words. I had a great time co-hosting the party and I'm looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting some of you for the first time.
Ok, The BBQ in the park, VS and myself are hoping we can nail down a date for that in July or August. Also I'm poking around to see about having a theme party [70's] also in the summer.
Hmm...I'm wondering how far my smile can take me with that to nail down the prefect place.
VS, My friend De is helping me out with that one. But Once I we have some set plans VS or myself will let you know 
If anyone has any names of pub, bars, even halls please message me the info. I'm do research for upcoming events.

Though like you I have no idea what BBB is?? have some ideas 
My company used to have BBQ's in Eisenhower Park.I am pretty sure ( not positive we got the spot arranged in advance)
I do meet up with High School friends once a year & we went to the park last year,
it was a first come- first to grab the area deal.
I do not mind cooking at the BBQ for a while , but like swedishmeatball said
I do not want to spend my WHOLE day cooking & that is what happens alot.
The Park is good if ya also want singles with kids to come & meet other singles with kids( I have no kids so do not think I am pushing that idea) | |

Swidman I will have something the first weekend of June. Can everyone handle it on a Friday? Around 7pmish and it will go on all night long (what's that song)
It will be in Bay Shore. And it's like three step's of walking from the Bay Shore train!!!!!!!!! It's a cute bar and it will have food and music!!!!!!!!! It will be five buck's at the door though. Since everyone said they didn't care/mind about five buck's. They have a nice out side and brand new bathroom's. Haha I was impressed with the bathroom's last night. I almost went into the wrong one though. Since the last time I was there (few yr's ago) they have switched them

Swid just have to wait to give birth!!!!!
I have a wedding shower to go to May 19th.
And May9th,May10th,May11th,May12th is my drinking fest
for my birthday. THE BIG THREE ZERO Gotta go with a BANG!
May 26th is The PA POF event. Might take a road trip with some fishie's and check it out. Who else want's to join that road trip? May 26th is a Saturday. And maybe grab a hotel room MAYBE. Since it's freaking cheap out there | |
