| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 5/4/2007 1:30:40 PM | My first 2 cars were both 1962 Ford Galaxie 500s. Between them I had $35 invested. Since then I have owned 46 cars, including 3 Pinzgauers. Google that one. The least I ever gave for a car was a case of beer, that was a '74 Olds '88' in 1986. You can see more on the 'Cars' page on http:www.maybebymonday.com

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 5/5/2007 10:56:44 AM | My first car was a Ford P.O.S. i turned 16, my mom took me to get my drivers license. after i got it -she told me i could have one of the retired taxicabs parked in the lot (they owned a cab company) my friends and i managed to get it running that evening -it was so much fun having this new found mobility, we got in sooooo much trouble with that car -my parents made me repaint the car so it didnt look afiliated with their company. that car was fun for my sophomore year in high school. however i scraped up over the summer and bought a 69 Mustang -now that was a car! | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 5/7/2007 7:59:47 PM | | A 1955 Pontiac Chieftain. I bought that baby in Virginia, drove it from there to Vermont and back, and then straight out the I40 to California. Those bench seats were made for drive-ins, and looking points. | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 5/12/2007 11:44:52 AM | My first car ever was a 71 Fiat 124 Sport Coupe.
My first car in LA was a 63 F85 Olds with an aluminum V8. I got it for $300 and it lasted a year until the front left suspension collapsed about a quarter mile from work in Torrance. I walked to work (I was a programmer) and there was a fair poor philipino guy that used to fix my computer when I'd done something awful to it. I tossed him the keys and gave it to him.

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 6/21/2007 12:52:17 PM | It was a Plymouth Horizon. I forget the year - must have been in the early 80's. I got rid of it after I moved from San Francisco (I should have gotten rid of it before I moved there - rarely ever used it).
My second vehicle which I still own is a '94 Ford Ranger truck with 155,000 miles on it. I think it's going to last another 100,000 miles or so.
Both were bought used - I got lucky both times.

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 6/21/2007 1:05:05 PM | 1973 Datsun 1200. My dad had originally bought it to commute to and from his office when we had the "gas crisis" of 1973 and he didn't want to drive the gas guzzling '68 Cadillac.
I inherited it in '77 and drove it until it died at about 150,000 miles in '85.

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 6/21/2007 5:34:49 PM | 1973 VW Westvalia complete w/ mini-camper and burned out engine. Was GOING to replace that with working engine but fat ***** landlady at the time said either move it or pay $$ to keep a space for it.
I paid, I think $125 dollars for it and towed it with the family car (1979 Chevy Caprice Classic Landau)

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 6/22/2007 1:32:54 PM | My first car? A 1996 Ford Thunderbird, with 105K miles on it. Traded it one year later for a 1992 Infiniti Q45, then traded that one year later for a 1998 F-150 Lightning. Traded that for a 1996 Corvette, then traded that for my current car a 2002 Cadillac CTS-V. The thing they have in common? V8's.
