| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 5/10/2008 12:17:16 AM | My first car was a Chrysler New Yorker! That thing was shweeet! It had sexy female voice and always told me when my "door was ajar". Not to mention it had some god horse power due to the horse power provided via Turbo! It was a total sleeper! I used to have 3 friends in the car with me and beat mustangs.. well that's not too impressive but for a Cadillac shaped sedan it was dshiznit!!!! | |

But with more primer. Flip-up headlights and everything. It was SO 80's.

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 5/10/2008 6:46:40 AM | | My first car was a 1972 Ford Galaxy 500. It was an enormous white, 4-door boat. Not at all a "cool car". Could hold 7 people, though... and in high school that came in handy. | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 5/12/2008 10:30:19 PM | First Car: 1969 Hot Wheels (new)
Then a Motorcycle: Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle (used)
Then an RV: G.I. Joe Mobile Support Vehicle (traded for a broken six million dollar man)
Then I had to get my pilots license: Kenner Millenium Falcon (new and expensive but so worth it)
"You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon? She's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. She's fast enough for you, old man.

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 5/12/2008 11:00:29 PM | My first car was a 1968 Pontiac Firebird Light metallic blue with a white top. High School Graduation Present! WoooHooo.... (I graduated early from High School, so put your calculators away!!) What I really wanted was a 1957 or 1958 turquoise 2 seater T-Bird.... I still dont have one!! bummer!
If anyone has a spare T-Bird going to waste in their garage and you want to make room to store more junk...., My birthday was in April, but Christmas is just around the corner!

The first car I bought with my own money was a 1966 Ford Fairlane for $300.

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 6/11/2008 10:56:34 PM | | My first car was a 1947 Mercury station wagon. It was a woodie and needed a lot of work. I bought it from a guy up the street. Wish I had it back. Didn't know too much about cars then. I was only 14. Those were the days. | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 8/6/2008 8:39:34 PM | | 1949 Ford sedan, my uncle challenged me, he lost, 10 bucks in Cleveland, Oh. A bucket of rust. Took it apart and put it back together, had a lot of parts left over, does everyone know that you have to use new gaskets? It started and moved, moved straight to the junkyard leaving a trail the whole way, got five bucks for it though. I was twelve. First car that you could actually go somewhere in, other than the junkyard? 1964 Triumph Herald (old harry). | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 8/13/2008 12:54:58 PM | my first car was a 1968 Mustang hard top, 289, c-6 auto tranny. great car. I ran the crap out of it. I love that car. When I graduated from HS, I got a chevy LUV pick up with a camper shell on it as a present. the back seat of the Mustang was just too small. | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 8/13/2008 5:04:59 PM | | My first car was a '56 Chevy BelAir, which I bought for $65.00 in 1967. It had no rear end to speak of, the three speed on the column shift would jam at every other intersection, and I'd have to jump out, open the hood, and manually move the shift rod. But the radio worked! | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 8/13/2008 7:56:57 PM | | My first car was a 1959 (I think) yellow plymouth convertible with a record player - the days before the incredible 8 track tape. The record always got stuck on "I'm gonna wash that man right outta my hair" from South Pacific. The car also had a muffler that always fell and you could hear the car coming before you saw it. | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 8/15/2008 4:37:31 AM | I got Grandma's White '76 V6 Pinto wagon. (no gas tank problem) I promptly had it re-painted Sunblaze Yellow, installed Keystone wheels all around on 60's BF Goodrich tires. Tinted the windows out. Added quad stereo, and genuine sheepskin seat covers.
Man did that honey get some looks then. When it got over 200,000 miles I unloaded it for $1100. Saw it once on the road later.... A sweet ride that could do a controlled slide as well.
Now I am a PICK-Up man.... 4X4...

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 8/15/2008 8:15:26 AM | | I had an 83 Chevy Cavalier 2 door. The ugliest metallic brown color I have ever seen. Still have nightmares to this day about that color. It was the epitome of uncool as far as cars went but at the end of the day, I still had a car. | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 8/15/2008 6:18:09 PM | Mine was a 90 or 91 Cadillaic. It was about 10 years old when i got it and ran okay. The gas pedal was so sensitive you'd barely apply a little pressure and its big V8 would just dart forward so i must have looked like a crazy driver getting off to racing starts when a light turned green. I also had an old radio and tape player and as i didnt have money at the time for a CD player, I had to make tapes and that was always the worst thing when going out, running through a tape to find whatever song i wanted to hear.
The car did have a huge backseat though

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 8/15/2008 10:40:41 PM | | My first car? Bought it in 1977 for $100 in Texas. Got me to the Rainbow Gathering by Truth Or Consequences, NM, where everybody celebrated 7/7/77. It was a 1965 Silver Anniversary Dodge Dart with push-button automatic transmission. In other words, instead of having a shifting knob on the steering wheel or on the floor, there were buttons on the dash marked P,R,N,D,2,1 and all you had to do was push one of those buttons and it was in gear. Got me all the way out to Cali, where I sold it for parts. | |

| Just for fun: What was your first car? Posted: 8/15/2008 10:46:11 PM | | A 1985 GMC Jimmy, complete with the back seat that folded down. Funny part is my girlfriend's (at the time) parents gave it to me. Very nice people. If they only knew what I had used it for... | |
